Coordination networks incorporating halogen-bond donor sites and azobenzene groups

Two Zn coordination networks, {[Zn(1)(Py)2]2(2-propanol)}n (3) and {[Zn(1)2(Bipy)2](DMF)2}n (4), incorporating halogen-bond (XB) donor sites and azobenzene groups have been synthesized and fully characterized. Obtaining 3 and 4 confirms that it is possible to use a ligand wherein its coordination bond acceptor sites and XB donor sites are on the same molecular scaffold (i.e., an aromatic ring) without interfering with each other. We demonstrate that XBs play a fundamental role in the architectures and properties of the obtained coordination networks. Linee guida per gli interventi nei quartieri innovativi IACP nell’Italia centromerdionale. Palermo: quartieri, periferie e città contemporanea" per l’unità di ricerca di Palermo, individua nell’insediamento residenziale di Borgo Ulivia il punto di partenza per un intervento alla scala territoriale che prevede una nuova gerarchia degli spazi pubblici all’interno del tessuto insediativo, la messa a sistema degli assi viabilistici e ciclopedonali e la valorizzazione degli elementi del paesaggio.

Theodore de Bèze is a french neo-latin author, i. e. a Renaissance author writing in latin, who composed a collection of poems entitled ‘The Juuenilia’ in his young years, thanks to which he earned the admiration of his contemporaries. Edited for the first time in 1548, this collection included Elegies and Epigrams among others poetic genres. Theodore de Bèze was a catholic at the time, but at the end of the same year he converted himself to Protestantism and moved to Lausanne where he became a Greek teacher.
