Weather data are crucial to correctly design buildings and their heating and cooling systems and to assess their energy performances. In the intensely urbanized towns the effect of climatic parameters is further emphasized by the Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon, known as the increase in the air temperature of urban areas, compared to the one measured in the extra-urban areas. Kvalifikācijas darbā tika uzlabota apdrošināšanas portāla un cenu salīdzinātāju integrācija, kā arī tika uzlabota atbilžu sagatavošanas pieeja ienākošajiem cenu salīdzinātāju apdrošināšanas pieprasījumiem. Lai pārbaudītu cenu salīdzinātāju ienākušo datu kartēšanu, uzrakstīti vairāki automatizēti integrācijas testi. Tas tika sasniegts izmantojot konfigurācijas pārvaldības rīku SVN, projekta vadības rīku Redmine, koda kvalitātes nodrošināšanas platformu SonarQube un automatizācijas serveri Jenkins. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika apskatītas vairākas populāras lietotāju saskarņu aprakstīšanas valodas un tika izpētīts to pielietošanas iespējas dažādu programmatūru izstrādē. Apkopojot izpētītos datus, tika izveidotas vadlīnijas, ar kuru palīdzību izstrādātājiem būs iespēja izvēlēties sev piemērotāko lietotāja saskarnes aprakstīšanas valodu. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kas ir lietotāja saskarnes aprakstīšanas valoda, to izmantošanas nepieciešamību un priekšrocības, tālākā gaitā padziļināti apskatīt populārāko valodu piemērus un salīdzināt tos. Apkopojot iegūto informāciju, izstrādāt vadlīnijas par aprakstīšanas valodu izvēli.

Tutkielma esittelee ja vertailee toimisto-ohjelmien tiedostoformaatteja. Tiedostoformaateiksi valittiin ODF ja OOXML, jotka ovat kumpikin XML-merkkauskieleen pohjautuvia kansainvälisiä standardeja. Tutkielma esittelee lyhyesti myös XML-merkkauskielen ja sen tuomat edut dokumenttien tallentamiseen. Tiedostoformaattien esittely ja vertailu painottuu tekstidokumentteihin. Vertailun pohjana käytetään valmiita tutkimuksia ja tutkielman kirjoittajan omaa kokemusta kyseisten tiedostoformaattien tulkinnasta. Recognizing Video Resolution by Monitoring Memory Metrics in Mobile Clients

Content delivery is one of the most successful applications in mobile networks. Mobile edge servers are significantly contributing to the improvement of this type of applications, by also performing resolution adaptations as a function of the radio link quality observed by the users. In this paper, we face the problem of dynamically tracking the perceived video resolution by mobile clients in a mobile edge environment to guarantee an agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). To this purpose, we propose a protocol-agnostic approach, based on monitoring some memory metrics of a running video streaming process at the mobile client, for identifying the time-varying resolution of the video content.
