Darba pirmajā nodaļā tēma tika pētīta no teorētiskā aspekta – uzturēšanās atļaujas jēdziens, veidi, kā arī to ietekmējošie faktori. Darba otrajā nodaļā tika analizēti statistikas dati par saņemtajām uzturēšanās atļaujām Latvijā, kā arī pieprasījums, saņēmēju valstiskā piederība, kā arī analizēti iekšējie un ārējie faktori, kas ietekmējuši pieprasījuma izmaiņas.
