A non-contact bioelectronic monitoring system was used to record changes in heart rate, ventilation rate and swimming activity in brown trout Salmo trutta and roach Rutilus rutilus, following exposure to two species of cercariae of digenean trematodes: Diplostomum pseudospathaceum which is a common parasite in the lens of fishes and xiphidiocercariae of Plagiorchis elegans, a parasite of anatid birds, both of which have the snail Lymnaea stagnalis as their first intermediate host. Aims: Colony morphology variants of fish pathogenic Flavobacterium columnare were studied to clarify the role of colony morphology change in the virulence of the bacterium. Typical rhizoid colony (Rz) variants are virulent and moderately adherent, nonrhizoid rough (R) colony variants are nonvirulent and highly adherent, and soft colony (S) variants are nonvirulent and poorly adherent. This paper explores variance in how people morally disapprove wrongs related to doping. The variance may pertain to what type of moral disapproval a person uses or to what they disapprove of. Our exploration is both conceptual and empirical. Conceptually, we distinguish between four types of moral disapprovals that we call blame, judging blameworthy, condemnation and sadness. We elaborate these four moral phenomena through a conceptual scheme that we call the matrix of moral disapprovals. The matrix is the central conceptual innovation of our paper. In this chapter, the authors present a historical reconstruction of body care as physical education, starting from oral civilizations and going through the classical, medieval and modern ages. Until 1800, the body was the object of attention of various religious and worldly views, while from the twentieth century onwards, body education as physical education was valued, becoming a subject of primary importance in the education of the person.

¿Qué capacidades cartográficas posee el alumnado de primer ciclo de Educación Primaria si se tienen en cuenta sus experiencias personales? Para responder a esta cuestión se ha realizado un estudio de casos en 2º curso de Educación Primaria, donde se comparan las habilidades cartográficas de un grupo experimental en el que se ha intervenido con otro de control sin intervención. A la muestra se le aplica un pretest y un postest para que realice una representación pictórica de un itinerario y responda a cuatro cuestiones.
