The aim of this study was to find out the potential of the Minoritest to identify the most likely talented gymnasts to join the national team pre-training group in Finland. The study examined the relationships between gymnasts´ (N=215, age 10–13) Minoritest results (2006–2010) and success in competitions after the Minoritests until the end of 2016. The competition results were also compared between the gymnasts who had participated in the test and a random number (N=180) of gymnasts who had not. Zjawisko korepetycji ma charakter globalny. W Polsce istnieje od dawna i w ostatnich latach znacznie przybrało na sile. Obecnie prywatne lekcje są postrzegane jako coś normalnego. Przedstawione w pracy wyniki badań empirycznych przeprowadzonych wśród maturzystów z Opola pokazują powszechność korepetycji oraz wskazują, jakim motywami kierują się uczniowie korzystający z takich zajęć.

Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena oli kartoittaa hyvän valmentajan ominaisuuksia ja suomalaisten telinevoimistelijatyttöjen tyytyväisyyttä valmentajiinsa. Lisäksi halusin selvittää, täyttivätkö voimistelijatyttöjen omat valmentajat heidän odotuksensa hyvästä, niin sanotusta unelmavalmentajasta. Tutkielman aineistonkeruu suoritettiin helmi-maaliskuussa 2013 sähköisellä kyselylomakkeella, johon saivat vastata aktiivisesti telinevoimistelua harrastavat, 10–15 -vuotiaat tytöt. Flavobacterium columnare is a bacterial pathogen of fresh water fish causing lethal columnaris disease worldwide. At Finnish fish farms, columnaris disease has occurred since the early 1980s, and is a serious problem in salmonid farming in Finland. Currently, the only effective treatment is with antibiotics. Factors related to the pathogenicity of F. columnare, transmission of columnaris disease and the immunity of salmonids to columnaris infections are poorly known.
