New Inferences on Magma Dynamics in Melilitite-Carbonatite Volcanoes: The Case Study of Mt. Vulture (Southern Italy)

This study provides the first micro-thermometric data of fluid inclusions (FIs) in mafic loose (disaggregated) xenocrysts and ultramafic xenoliths in explosive products of the melilitite-carbonatite Mt. Vulture volcano (southern Italy). Pure CO2 late stage FIs hosted in rock-forming minerals of wehrlite xenoliths and clinopyroxene xenocrysts were trapped at the local crust-mantle boundary (32 km). In contrast, trapping pressures within the loose olivine xenocrysts are from 3.2 to 4.5 kbar (8–13 km). Standard flavors of density-functional theory (DFT) calculations are known to fail in describing anions, due to large self-interaction errors. The problem may be circumvented using localized basis sets of reduced size, leaving no variational flexibility for the extra electron to delocalize. Alternatively, a recent approach exploiting DFT evaluations of total energies on electronic densities optimized at the Hartree-Fock (HF) level has been reported, showing that the self-interaction-free HF densities are able to lead to an improved description of the additional electron, returning affinities in close agreement with the experiments. In particular, it should be feasible to explore, manipulate, and ultimately design magnonic excitations in two-dimensional van der Waals magnets in a controllable way. Here we demonstrate the emergence of moiré magnon excitations, stemming from the interplay of spin-excitations in monolayer CrBr3 and the moiré pattern arising from the lattice mismatch with the underlying substrate. In 2011, an archaeological evaluation was carried out in the centre of the Roman city of Augustodunum (Autun) on a plot of over 1 ha. This operation afforded the opportunity to explore parts of two insulae along the main street, the so-called cardo maximus, an area that has benefited from recent advances in knowledge. The first insula hosts a high-status domus strongly resembling those of "Balbius Iassus" and the "Étui d’Or", excavated in the vicinity in the 1970s; the second, addressed in this paper, contains the remains of a vast monumental complex covering approximately 900 m2. Bakalaura darbs ir korpusā balstīts pētījums, kura mērķis ir izpētīt dzimtes piešķiršanas mehānismus anglicismiem itāļu valodā. Pētījums turpina un paplašina Thornton (2003 A, 2003 B) teorijas par dzimtes piešķiršanas likumiem. Empīriskajā daļā tiek izveidots anglicismu, kuru dzimte nosakāma no konteksta, korpuss, izmantojot itāļu valodas korpusus LIP (1994) un itWaC Sample (2016). Tad tie tiek grupēti pēc stratēģijas, kas izmantota to dzimtes piešķiršanai. Iegūtie rezultāti rāda, ka visbiežāk anglicismi itāļu valodā dzimti iegūst pēc analoģijas ar to tulkojumu vai pēc pazīstama piedēkļa. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos 2-os klasės mokinių ir jų tėvų įsitikinimų apie lietuvių kalbos mokymąsi sąsajos su mokinių pasiekimais. Nustatyta, kad mokinių įsitikinimai apie savo gebėjimus, susidomėjimas lietuvių kalba, tėvų lūkesčiai bei 2-os klasės pasiekimai tarpusavyje siejasi teigiamais ryšiais. Kontroliuojant vaiko lytį, tėvų išsilavinimą bei 1-os klasės pasiekimus, geresnius pasiekimus 2-oje klasėje prognozuoja aukštesni tėvų lūkesčiai ir geresni vaikų savų gebėjimų vertinimai. Tämä työ tutkii kansainvälisiä ystävyyskuntia Saarijärven ja Amt Trittaun esimerkin valossa. Työn pääpaino on aktiivisten osallistujien motivaatiossa ja kokemuksissa. Tutkimusta varten jaettiin 50 kyselylomaketta sekä suomalaisille että saksalaisille, jotka osallistuivat ystävyyskaupunkitapaamiseen Saarijärvellä heinäkuussa 2009. Kyselylomakkeiden lisäksi helmikuussa 2010 haastateltiin neljää suomalaista ystävyyskunta-aktiivia, jotka valittiin haastatteluun kyselylomakkeiden perusteella. Haastattelut koostuivat neljästä eri teemasta: motivaatio, ryhmän vaikutus, kommunikointi sekä ystävyyskaupunkitoiminnan tulevaisuus ja kehitys.
