Heart Rate Variability Monitoring During Strength and High-Intensity Interval Training Overload Microcycles

Objective: In two independent study arms, we determine the effects of strength training (ST) and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) overload on cardiac autonomic modulation by measuring heart rate (HR) and vagal heart rate variability (HRV).Methods: In the study, 37 well-trained athletes (ST: 7 female, 12 male; HIIT: 9 female, 9 male) were subjected to orthostatic tests (HR and HRV recordings) each day during a 4-day baseline period, a 6-day overload microcycle, and a 4-day recovery period. Extended abstract:The vegetation of the district of Djougou is affected by large changes due to tree logging, crop field clearing and grazing by increasing numbers of livestock. The dynamics of the landscape is analyzed with a time series of Landsat satellite images (1984-2012). A regressive approach, exploiting the field observations and semi-structured interviews conducted in 2012-2013 in the Bakou-Wewe territory, documents the evolution of land use and facilitates the analysis of Landsat images. Skala Niesprawności Neurologicznej Szpitala Guy (GNDS, The Guy’s Neurological Disability Scale) jest istotnym narzędziem służącym do pomiaru niepełnosprawności u osób ze stwardnieniem rozsianym. Służy ona do określenia poziomu funkcjonowania w dwunastu ważnych obszarach. Celem obecnych badań było opracowanie polskiej wersji językowej skali GNDS i sprawdzenie jej trafności, rzetelności oraz przydatności do oceny niepełnosprawności występującej u osób ze stwardnieniem rozsianym. Grupę badaną stanowiło 175. pacjentów z rozpoznaniem stwardnienia rozsianego. Multikritēriju piemērotības analīze meža ekosistēmu aktīvās rekreācijas pakalpojumu novērtēšanai

Meža ekosistēmas sniedz daudzveidīgus pakalpojumus – gan materiālus resursus (piemēram, koksnes sortimentus, ogas, sēnes un citus produktus), gan nemateriālus (piemēram, rekreācija). Kultūras ekosistēmu pakalpojumi kļūst aizvien aktuālāki mūsdienu mežsaimniecības plānošanas kontekstā, un to apzināšana un telpiska identificēšana ir būtiska. Pētījuma galvenais mērķis ir izstrādāt metodisku pieeju aktīvās rekreācijas vērtēšanas un kartēšanas darbam, ņemot par piemēru valsts mežu teritoriju lauku un piepilsētu apvidos. Multikritēriju analīze tiek īstenota kombinācijā ar ĢIS analīzi, pirmkārt, veicot kritēriju vērtēšanu, izmantojot zinātnisko literatūru, otrkārt, veicot secīgu kritēriju vērtēšan…
