Through analyzing discourse in blog posts, academic material and online communication between chiptune practitioners it aims to define the current generation of chiptune musicians. Interviewing figures of interest has given insight into the aesthetic of chiptune and what is important to the current community. Masteroppgave rytmisk musikk MUR502 - Universitetet i Agder 2018 I denne oppgaven har jeg belyst det jeg oppfatter som sentrale elementer ved trommesound i studio. Jeg har drøftet hva som blir oppfattet som en ønsket trommesound med tanke på sammenheng. For å tilføre oppgaven validitet har jeg valgt å intervjue tre sentrale utøvere på dette feltet. Grunnlaget for oppgaven ligger i min egen undring i hvordan en som musiker kan med stor sikkerhet kan oppnå et resultat som er ønskelig på fast basis.
