By analysing three museums exhibition, this article investigates how the history of European colonialism is approached in an attempt to identify potential for decolonising European minds. The case studies consist of a temporary exhibition (2016–2017) concerning German colonialism at the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin; the permanent exhibition of the House of European History in Brussels and the permanent exhibition of the Sagres Promontory (Portugal), a heritage site related to the conquest of the Americas. The aim of the present research is to investigate the constitutive materials and the execution techniques of San Vito wooden pulpit from Museo Diocesano of Palermo (Italy) and to provide helpful information to dating it in addition to technical, historical and artistic evaluations. El trabajo presenta parte de los resultados obtenidos en la segunda fase de una investigación sobre exclusión e inclusión cultural de los adolescentes respecto a los espacios patrimoniales. En concreto, analiza la percepción que tienen los estudiantes de 14 a 16 años sobre las acciones didácticas que se llevan a cabo en los museos poniendo especial énfasis en el trabajo de mediadores y educadores, en las fórmulas y grados de participación que se les brinda y en la naturaleza de las actividades que los museos les ofrecen. International audience; Preserving the cultural heritage of the performing arts raises difficult and sensitive issues, as each performance is unique by nature and the juxtaposition between the performers and the audience cannot be easily recorded. In this paper, we report on an experimental research project to preserve another aspect of the performing arts—the history of their rehearsals. Il saggio affronta lo studio del maso Valentim im Viertel attraverso la realizzazione del modello digitale utilizzato come strumento per la conoscenza dell’architettura della tradizione del Sud Tirolo. La metodologia adottata si basa sull’acquisizione dei dati rielaborati attraverso modelli VR e AR per la valorizzazione del patrimonio. This study deals with development of the farmhouse Valentim im Viertel digital model used as a tool for the knowledge of the South Tyrol traditional architecture. The methodological approach shows the acquisition of data and the use of VR and AR models for the enhancement of the cultural heritage.
