Rockfestivaalin kriisiviestintä : Roskilden vuoden 2000 tragedia

Tässä tutkimuksessa tutkittiin rockfestivaalin kriisiviestintää festivaaliorganisaation ja sen yhden sidosryhmän näkökulmasta. Kriisiviestintä on aiheena ajankohtainen niin viestinnän tutkimuksessa kuin yhteisöjen käytännön toiminnassa. Festivaalit ovat lisäksi yhteiskunnallisesti kiinnostava tutkimuskohde. Kriisiviestinnän teoria nivottiin tapahtuma- ja festivaaliorganisaatioiden toimintaympäristöön. Abstract Rain‐induced leading‐edge erosion (LEE) of wind turbine blades (WTBs) is associated with high repair and maintenance costs. The effects of LEE can be triggered in less than 1 to 2 years for some wind turbine sites, whereas it may take several years for others. In addition, the growth of erosion may also differ for different blades and turbines operating at the same site. Hence, LEE is a site‐ and turbine‐specific problem. ABSTRACTThis study was done to examine the transition of deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) and hearing students from the first cycle (Grade 4) to the second cycle (Grade 5) of primary education in Ethiopia. Encoding specificity instead of online integration of real-world spatial regularities for objects in working memory

Most objects show high degrees of spatial regularity (e.g. beach umbrellas appear above, not under, beach chairs). The spatial regularities of real-world objects benefit visual working memory (VWM), but the mechanisms behind this spatial regularity effect remain unclear. Simultaneous polarization attraction and Raman amplification of a light beam in optical fibers

International audience; In this paper, we demonstrate that it is possible to combine both Raman amplification and polarization attraction of a signal wave in a single optical fiber by means of a counterpropagating scheme. Experiments were performed near 1550 nm in a continuous wave regime and by means of a 10 Gbit ∕ s return-to-zero signal injected in a 20 kmlong low polarization mode dispersion optical fiber. Complete repolarization and 6.7 dB amplification of the signal wave was achieved by injecting a 850 mW, 1480 nm counterpropagating polarized pump wave.
