The purpose of this study was to evaluate if the variations of heart magnetic resonance imaging in beta-thalassemia major patients treated with Deferoxamine B mesylate (DF) or Deferiprone (L1) chelation therapy is a useful tool of the indirect myocardial iron content determination. For this reason, a prospective study was carried out. Seventy-two consecutive patients with beta-thalassemia major (35 treated with DF and 37 with L1) were studied. Mother tongue is one of the most important aspects of preserving identity o f national or ethnic minority. Being in force since 2005 the Law on National and Ethnic Minorities and Regional Language minorities in Poland secures the right to preserve and maintain their language and to introduce it as an assistant language in municipalities. Nie można mówić o zasadach jednomyślności i większości w parlamentaryźmie polskim XVI i XVII wieku, abstrahując od struktury organów przedstawicielskich, ich kompetencji i konkretnych metod podejmowania decyzji. Przedstawione w artykule analizy pozwalają na stwierdzenie, że pomimo tego, że zasada jednomyślności była charakterystyczna dla społeczeństwa stanowego, to już w wieku XVI w praktyce parlamentarnej decydowano w oparciu o zasadę większości. Previous research on music and emotions has been able to pinpoint many structural features conveying emotions. Empirical research on vertical harmony’s emotional qualities, however, has been rare. The main studies in harmony and emotions usually concern the horizontal aspects of harmony, ignoring emotional qualities of chords as such. Melnā mušķērāja Ficedula hypoleuca un lielās zīlītes Parus major ligzdošanas vietu izvēli noteicošie faktori mežos ar mākslīgajām ligzdvietām

Līdz šim veiktajos, publiski pieejamos pētījumos secināts, ka lielā zīlīte Parus major labprātāk izvēlas ligzdot lapu koku nevis skujkoku audzēs. Tikmēr melnā mušķērāja Ficedula hypoleuca sastopamība atkarīga no mākslīgo ligzdvietu izvietojuma daudzuma. Pamatojoties uz šo informāciju, tika izvirzīts pieņēmums, ka lielās zīlītes ligzdvietas izvēlē būtiska ietekme ir apkārt esošajai veģetācijai, bet melnā mušķērāja izvēlē – mākslīgo ligzdvietu skaitam. Par darba mērķi tika uzstādīts noskaidrot lielās zīlītes un melnā mušķērāja ligzdošanas vietu izvēli noteicošos faktorus mežos ar mākslīgajām ligzdvietām.
