L'objectiu de la present recerca és abordar la variació i ductilitat de conceptes aparentment clars i inequívocs relacionats amb els rols professionals habituals. L'estudi se centra en les estructures semàntiques, i subsegüents models cognitius, associats amb el terme 'boss', tal com són expressats i transmesos en l'actualitat a través dels grans mitjans de comunicació britànics. L'anàlisi lingüística, qualitatiu i quantitatiu, d'un corpus significatiu de textos en els quals apareix aquest terme mostra clares diferències en el seu significat, depenent de factors clau com l'orientació sociopolítica i ideològica de la plataforma de publicació.
On the Cryptanalysis of Two Cryptographic Algorithms That Utilize Chaotic Neural Networks

This paper deals with the security and efficiency issues of two cipher algorithms which utilize the principles of Chaotic Neural Networks (CNNs). The two algorithms that we consider are (1) the CNN-Hash, which is a one-way hash function based on the Piece-Wise Linear Chaotic Map (PWLCM) and the One-Way Coupled Map Lattice (OCML), and (2) the Delayed CNN-Based Encryption (DCBE), which is an encryption algorithm based on the delayed CNN. Although both of these cipher algorithms have their own salient characteristics, our analysis shows that, unfortunately, the CNN-Hash is not secure because it is neither Second-Preimage resistant nor collision resistant. The implications of teachers’ implicit theories for moral education: A case study from Finland

Implicit theories concerning the malleability of human qualities are known to have a powerful impact on motivation and learning, but their role in moral education is an under-researched topic. In this qualitative case study, we examined the impact of implicit theories on four Finnish teachers’ practices of teaching morally and in teaching morality. The data include preliminary and stimulated recall interviews (STR) as well as classroom observations. Our results demonstrate the multiple ways in which teachers’ implicit beliefs are communicated to students and influence teacher’s interpretations and endeavors to educate the ethical capabilities of students.
