However, little is known about how these plants respond to water deficits under a soil-mulching system when the surface is protected. Pētījuma mērķis bija izstrādāt uz tehnoloģijām balstītus vingrinājumus, kas varētu palīdzēt mācīt studentiem angļu valodas līdzskaņu aspirācijas aspektus. Teorija par līdzskaņu aspirāciju un valodas apguvi/pasniegšanu ar datoru palīdzību tika izpētīta, kā arī darba gaidā aspirācijas tēma tika pasniegta studentiem izmantojot Audacity programmu. Genetic polymorphism at the CSN1S1 gene in Girgentana dairy goat breed

The aim of this work was to evaluate the variability of the αs1-casein locus in the endangered Girgentana dairy goat breed in order to define genetic improvement and a conservation program for this breed. The study was performed on 200 dairy goats by means of different PCR protocols. The most frequent alleles were A (0.590) and F (0.290) followed by B (0.065) and N (0.047). CSN1S1 E allele was identified with a very low frequency (0.008). The most common genotype was AF (0.365) followed by AA (0.340). Abstract To reduce emissions of greenhouse gas (GHG) from landfills, the European Union (EU) Landfill Directive 1999/31/EC requires that there be a progressive decrease in the municipal biodegradable waste disposal. The main problem of waste management (WM) in Latvia is its heavy dependence on the waste disposal at landfills. The poorly developed system for the sorted municipal waste collection and the promotion of landfilling as a major treatment option led to the disposal of 84% of the total collected municipal waste in 2012, with a high biodegradable fraction.
