Il contributo esamina due dipinti conservati nelle chiese di Petralia Sottana, centro delle alte Madonie. Si tratta della tela raffigurante San Carlo Borromeo della Chiesa Madre che, datata al secondo decennio del Seicento, viene riferita a Giuseppe Salerno, pittore della maniera conosciuto insieme al suo concittadino Gaspare Bazzano come Zoppo di Gangi. L’altro dipinto, invece, è l’affresco raffigurante La disputa di Gesù con i Dottori della chiesa di San Francesco d’Assisi che, riferito dubitativamente pure al Salerno, viene ricondotto ad anonimo pittore della maniera. Colette’s work reveals the evolution of the woman’s self-awareness that took place in the 20th century, when she rejected the then-publicly accepted image of wife and mother. The author of the Claudine series through moral novelty, by addressing issues of gender identity and homosexuality, undermines stereotypes perpetuating inequalities between the sexes and male domination in the private and public sphere. She also changes the traditional way of portraying a woman in literature, creating a new type of heroine who provoked partners while fighting for her own independence.

Study and analysis of the panel painting of the Madonna del Rosario with Dominican and Franciscan saints is kept in the church of Maria SS. del Rosario in the Parrini village, a small fraction of Partinico, in the province of Palermo. The restoration intervention allowed the discovery of an initials that reveal the author: the painter, perhaps Venetian, Geronimo Rizzardi, a mannerist artist inserted in the context of the city of Palermo at the end of the sixteenth century.

Speech recognition has become common in many application domains, from dictation systems for professional practices to vocal user interfaces for people with disabilities or hands-free system control.
