Robust technique for 3D shape reconstruction

Abstract In this paper a robust and simple scheme is presented for three dimensional (3D) shape reconstruction of real object. A novel composite pattern technique is proposed for projecting the light pattern on the object of interest. The proposed scheme reduces the number of patterns by combining the primary color coded channels into one composite format. Our approach uses both spatial and temporal intensity variation for calibration and construction phase. Gamma calibration is considered with the propose scheme. Research report; International audience; Associative learning contributes crucially to adjust the behavior of neonates to the permanently changing environment. In the European rabbit, the mammary pheromone (MP) excreted in milk triggers sucking behavior in newborns, and additionally promotes very rapid learning of initially neutral odor cues. Such stimuli become then as active as the MP itself to elicit the orocephalic motor responses involved in suckling. In this context, the rabbit is an interesting model to address the question of brain circuits early engaged by learning and memory. We give sharp conformal conditions for the dfferentiability in the Sobolev space W1, n-1 loc (Ω,Rn). Furthermore, we show that the space W1, n-1 loc (Ω,Rn) can be considered as the borderline space for some capacitary inequalities. peerReviewed

L’utilizzo della cartografia nei GIS impone una riflessione sulle caratteristiche che essa deve possedere al fine di consentire le elaborazioni tipiche di questi sistemi e rende necessario verificare quali siano le informazioni che rimangono associate agli oggetti della classe al momento del caricamento dei dati, in formato DXF, all’interno di software GIS. Negli ultimi anni a livello internazionale sono state fissate norme tendenti a individuare linee guida per la definizione della struttura del contenuto semantico della cartografia numerica, delle caratteristiche geometriche e delle relazioni topologiche dell’informazione geografica.

La Cartoteca de la Universitat de València gestiona desde 2002 una parte muy importante del patrimonio cartográfico de dicha universidad, hasta entonces disperso en diversas instancias. Partiendo de los criterios de antigüedad, rareza y valor cultural, entendido como la vinculación de los mapas con las circunstancias históricas de su producción, se describen brevemente sus principales colecciones. Posteriormente se detallan las acciones realizadas para su conservación y difusión. La Cartoteca ha sido un instrumento útil para la identificación y puesta en valor del patrimonio cartográfico de la Universitat de València, mucho más rico y variado de lo que se pensaba

¿Qué capacidades cartográficas posee el alumnado de primer ciclo de Educación Primaria si se tienen en cuenta sus experiencias personales? Para responder a esta cuestión se ha realizado un estudio de casos en 2º curso de Educación Primaria, donde se comparan las habilidades cartográficas de un grupo experimental en el que se ha intervenido con otro de control sin intervención. A la muestra se le aplica un pretest y un postest para que realice una representación pictórica de un itinerario y responda a cuatro cuestiones. This paper analyzes the effectiveness of maps as transmitters of information. To this end, some basic concepts concerning the properties of cartographic language are examined, with the aim of helping the reader design maps conveying geographic information as clearly as possible. This thesis is concerned with examining the life and deadliness of the map trope in contemporary Human Geography and the various ways maps and mapping have been re-theorized over the past twenty five years.
