TIIVISTELMÄ Jenni Mörsky. Liikunnanopettajan vuorovaikutustaidot – Liikunnanopettajien näkemyksiä ongelmatilanteiden ratkaisu- ja toimintatavoistaan koululiikunnassa. Liikuntapedagogiikan pro gradu -tutkielma 2010, 73 s. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassani tarkastelin laadullisen tutkimusotteen avulla liikunnanopettajien suhtautumista koululiikunnan ongelmatilanteisiin ja heidän menetelmiä niiden ratkaisemiseen. Lisäksi selvitin, millainen käsitys liikunnanopettajilla on vuorovaikutusosaamisestaan sekä miten koululiikuntaan saataisiin entistä enemmän myönteistä ilmapiiriä. Etsin tässä laadullisessa tapaustutkimuksessa opettajan mahdollisuuksia ja keinoja rakentaa oppilaan kokonaisvaltaista kasvua tukevaa luokkahuoneilmapiiriä. Kokonaisvaltaisen kasvun tukemisella tarkoitetaan tässä tutkimuksessa oppilaan minäkäsityksen tukemista, sillä minäkäsitys on sekä pohjana että osa kaikkea oppimista. Job Resources and Work Engagement: Optimism as Moderator Among Finnish Managers

The aim of the present study was to investigate the moderating role of optimism in the relationship between job resources (organizational climate, job control) and work engagement among Finnish young managers (N = 747). Hierarchical regression analyses showed that both job resources and optimism exerted a positive effect on work engagement and its three dimensions of vigor, dedication, and absorption. The moderation results showed that optimism can diminish the negative impact of low job resources on work engagement. Our recent data suggest that during auto- and allograft recognition in sponges (Porifera), cytokines are differentially expressed. Since the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signal transduction modulates the synthesis and release of cytokines, we intended to identify one key molecule of this pathway. Therefore, a cDNA from the marine sponge Suberites domuncula encoding the MAPK was isolated and analyzed. Its encoded protein is 366 amino acids long (calculated Mr 42 209), has a TGY dual phosphorylation motif in protein kinase subdomain VIII and displays highest overall similarity to the mammalian p38 stress activated protein kinase (SAPK2), one subfamily of MAPKs. Valutazione degli effetti del dimetilamino-partenolide (DMAPT) in vivo in xenotrapianti di cellule di carcinoma mammario MDA-MB231

Obiettivo degli studi condotti in questa tesi è stato quello di valutare l’efficacia del Partenolide in vivo in xenotrapianti ottenuti da cellule di carcinoma mammario triplo negativo MDA-MB231 in topi immunodeficienti. Lo studio è stato condotto impiegando il dimetilamino-partenolide (DMAPT), un analogo del partenolide più solubile. I risultati delle ricerche hanno dimostrato che la somministrazione di DMAPT a topi immunodeficienti portatori di xenotrapianti di cellule MDA-MB231 determina una significativa inibizione della crescita dei tumori e un incremento della sopravvivenza degli animali. The aim of this study was to examine Liikunnan Riemu’s football team’s changes in cohesion during European Universities Sports Association Games in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The basis for this study was to quantitatively examine cohesion using Carron’s and his colleagues (1985) developed Group Environmental Questionnaire for sport teams. The GEQ is divided into four dimensions which describe cohesion more accurately. High cohesion has been shown to lead to success in sports and vice versa (Carron et al. 2002; Rovio 2009; Voight & Callaghan 2001).
