Fermentējamo cukuru iegūšana no lignocelulozes atkritumiem biodegvielas ražošanai
2016
Iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka efektīvai fermentējamo cukuru iegūšanai no biomasas papildus hidrolīzei jāveic pirmapstrādi. No 1 g siena bija iespējams iegūt 0.46 g/g (115% no literatūras minēta teorētiskā maksimuma) glikozes un 0.38 g/g (81% no literatūras minēta teorētiskā maksimuma) no 1 g salmu substrāta. Fermentējot iegūtos cukurus, …
The Radó–Kneser–Choquet theorem for $p$-harmonic mappings between Riemannian surfaces
2020
In the planar setting the Rad\'o-Kneser-Choquet theorem states that a harmonic map from the unit disk onto a Jordan domain bounded by a convex curve is a diffeomorphism provided that the boundary mapping is a homeomorphism. We prove the injectivity criterion of Rad\'o-Kneser-Choquet for $p$-harmonic mappings between Riemannian surfaces. In our proof of the injecticity criterion we approximate the $p$-harmonic map with auxiliary mappings that solve uniformly elliptic systems. We prove that each auxiliary mapping has a positive Jacobian by a homotopy argument. We keep the maps injective all the way through the homotopy with the help of the minimum principle for a certain subharmonic expressio…
Tīmekļa lietotne ēstuvju meklēšanai
2021
“Finder App” ir ar Laravel ietvaru veidota tīmekļa lietotne, kurā lietotājs izmantojot karti var atrast konkrētai atrašanās vietai tuvākās ēstuves. Reģistrētie lietotāji var arī pievienot sev iecienītākās ēstuves sarakstā un atsevišķi tās apskatīt. Lietotnē izmanto Google Maps un Google Places API, lai iegūtu kartes un ēdnīcu datus, kuru pēc tam parāda lietotājam kartē.
Identifying the Sales Patterns of Online Stores with Self-Organising Maps on Time Series Data
2018
Electronic commerce, especially in the business-to-consumer (B2C) context, has for years been a popular research topic in information systems (IS). However, the prior research on the topic has traditionally been dominated by the consumer focus instead of the business focus of online stores. For example, whereas various segmentations exist for online consumers based on their purchase behaviour, no such segmentations have been developed for online stores based on their sales patterns. In this study, our objective is to address this gap in prior research by identifying the most typical sales patterns of online stores operating in the B2C context. By using self-organising maps (SOM) to analyse …
Researching Children’s Multiple Family Relations: Social Network Maps and Life-Lines as Methods
2015
Visual methods are reported to have certain advantages when conducting interviews on sensitive topics, such as intimate spaces, home-related ethical issues, and vulnerable families. In this article, we concentrate on two visual methods: social network maps and life-lines. In our research project on children’s well-being and emotional security in multiple family relations, we collected data by interviewing children and asking them to complete social network maps and life-lines. We discuss the suitability of these two visual methods for describing children’s close relationships with their family members and significant others. Combining these two methods during an interview process with child…
The Social Networks of People with Intellectual Disabilities during the On-Campus Supported Adult Education Programme
2016
This article describes the social networks of four young people with intellectual disabilities in supported adult education, focusing on their inclusion in school and leisure environments. A multiple case study approach with content analysis was used. Data were collected through interviews with young people and their family members, relationship maps, observation journals and notes from Personal Futures Planning meetings. Relationships with family members, other relatives and neighbours were close. One participant had a friend of her own age with no disabilities. The other three had varying, superficial peer relationships and friends of the family. All the participants had heterogeneous rel…
