Abstract In a standard Diamond-Mortensen-Pissarides labour market with frictions, the authors seek to determine when there is more employment with individual wage bargaining than with collective wage bargaining, using a wage equation generated by the standard total surplus sharing rule. Using a Cobb-Douglas production function, they find that if the bargaining power of the individual is high compared to the bargaining power of the union, there is more unemployment with individual wage setting and vice versa. When the individual worker and the union have the same bargaining power, if the cost of opening a vacancy is sufficiently high, there is more unemployment with individual wage setting. …

The hepatitis C virus (HCV) infected patients are prone to develop bone marrow or various tissue infiltrates with monoclonal B cells, monoclonal B lymphocytosis or different types of B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (BCNHL), of which the most common are splenic marginal zone BCNHL, diffuse large BCNHL and follicular lymphoma. Mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) is a key regulator of cell metabolism and lymphocyte proliferation. It is inhibited by the tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), a heterodimer of TSC1 and TSC2. Deletion of either gene results in robust activation of mTORC1. Mature B cells reside in the spleen at two major anatomical locations, the marginal zone (MZ) and follicles. The MZ constitutes the first line of humoral response against blood‐borne pathogens and undergoes atrophy in chronic inflammation. Materiāls vākts no 2016. gada 5. augusta līdz 2016. gada 1. septembrim. Airvaboles C. lateralimarginalis ķeršanai izmantotas pudeļlamatas, kurās atradās ēsma – vistas gaļa. Lamatu saturs fiksēts 30% etilenglikolā. Ievāktā materiāla analīze notika stacionāri. Pavisam tika ievākti 84 paraugi (72 paraugi vaboļu ķeršanas vietās un 12 paraugi vaboļu iezīmēšanas / atlaišanas vietās). In haplodiploid organisms, virgin females can produce offspring, albeit only sons. They may therefore face a trade-off between either: (1) searching for hosts and producing sons immediately; or (2) searching for mates and perhaps producing both sons and daughters later in life. Although this trade-off raises a theoretical interest, it has not been approached experimentally. Objectives.The goal of this study was to evaluate bone changes around endosseous implants in partially edentulous patients.Materials and Methods.A total of 632 two-stage implants were placed in 252 patients. The implants had straight emergence profile, ZirTi surface, 3.3 to 5 mm diameter, and 8.5 to 13 mm length. Bone levels were assessed on orthopantomography immediately after surgery and after 36 months and marginal bone loss (MBL) was calculated from their difference.Results.Cumulative survival rate was 98.73%. Rituximab ® provides high response rates and effective disease palliation in patients with splenic marginal zone lymphoma (SMZL). We conducted a phase II trial in patients with SMZL who were either untreated or were splenectomized but had shown disease progression within 1 year after splenectomy. Treatment consisted of six courses of Rituximab with cyclophosphamide, vincristine, non-pegylated liposomal doxorubicin and prednisone (R-COMP). Fifty-one patients were eligible for the analysis. The overall response rate was 84%. The 6-year progression-free survival and overall survival were 54% and 72%, respectively.
