W prezentowanym badaniu przedmiotem analizy uczyniono opinie studentów II roku Pedagogiki (N = 23) wyrażone w eseju pod tytułem: Mass media- szansa czy zagrożenie? Poglądy studentów zostały poddane kategoryzacji, a następnie dokonano analizy ilościowej, natomiast wybrane wypowiedzi zostały przytoczone w formie cytatów. Wśród wymienianych zagrożeń z największą częstotliwością pojawiały się argumenty, mówiące o manipulacji obecnej w środkach masowego przekazu (43,5%), zwrócono także uwagę na to, że są one źródłem złych wzorców (43,5%) oraz uzależnień (34,8%%). Jeśli chodzi o zalety mass mediów, to za najważniejsze studenci uznali szybki dostęp do informacji (52,2%), dostęp do wiedzy (47,8%), …

Digital resources in the current journalistic narrative: Uses and limitations of hypertext, multimedia and interactivity

Characterised by its multilingual and multiformat features, the multimedia journalism narrative is shaping a new ‘archaeology of composition’ (Manovich, 2005), also called the ‘new textuality’ (Anichini, 2003). As digital media celebrates its 25th anniversary (Salaverría, 2019), this research aims to examine the current state of the multimedia narrative in journalism. Platformed Interactions: How Social Media Platforms Relate to Candidate–Constituent Interaction During Finnish 2015 Election Campaigning

Interaction between candidates and constituents via social media is a well-studied domain. The article takes this research further through a synthesis with platform studies, emerging scholarship that applies a critical perspective to the role of digital platforms in society. Examination of candidate–constituent interaction via Twitter and Facebook during the 2015 Finnish parliamentary elections revealed that the types of interaction differ between the two platforms: Facebook was used for formal campaigning and for praising and expressing support, while Twitter was utilized for information and for seeking and sharing opinions. Bronisław Łagowski, polski konserwatywny historyk i filozof idei, oferuje nader interesujące spojrzenie na funkcjonowanie środków masowego przekazu, szczególnie zaś telewizji komercyjnej. Z jego punktu widzenia telewizja jest potężnym i zagrażającym demokracji medium. Łagowski opisuje również polskie media, które - jak uważa - są bardzo stronnicze i nasycone ideologią, potępia choćby ich zdecydowaną antyrosyjskość. Photographic exhibitions are organized today "outdoor"; I study the "non-public" (Ancel & Pessin, 2004): the absents. What are the factors hindering the encounter with the works despite their urban exposure? The article attempts to study the performances of culture that are forged by the respondents (migrants from the lower classes) during outings organized by community centers or municipal associations. To understand why photographic exhibitions fail to mobilize some, I observe in fact that the last prefer other cultural events. Aerosolization Performance of Jet Nebulizers and Biopharmaceutical Aspects

In this work, 13 jet nebulizers, some of which in different configurations, were investigated in order to identify the biopharmaceutical constraints related to the quality attributes of the medicinal products, which affect their safety, efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness. The aerosolization parameters, including the aerosol output, aerosol output rate, mass median aerodynamic diameter, and fine particle fraction, were determined according to the European Standard EN 13544-1, using sodium fluoride as a reference formulation.
