In this paper the authors consider the Laplace derivative of a real function of a real variable introduced by R. E. Svetic [Comment. Math. Univ. Carolin. 42 (2001), no. 2, 331–343; MR1832151 (2002d:26008)]. The aim of this paper is to study the properties of the first-order Laplace derivative. They also prove Rolle's theorem, Darboux's theorem and other such theorems for the Laplace derivative.

Second sound propagation in laminar and turbulent superfluid 4He via extended thermodynamics
2012
In this work, previous results on the complex propagation of second sound in laminar and turbulent superfluid 4He are reported. Furthermore the case of inhomogeneous superfluid turbulence is examined and, in particular, the wave propagation is investigated in the presence of an anisotropic vortex tangle. Two cases of physical interest are considered: wave front collinear and orthogonal to the heat flux.

Westudy some slight modifications of the class AC^n introduced in [D. Bongiorno, Absolutely continuous functions in Rn, J. Math. Anal. and Appl. 303 (2005) 119 134]. In particular we prove that the classes introduced in [C. Di Bari, C. Vetro, A remark on absolutely continuous functions in R^n, Rend. Circ. Matem. Palermo 55 (2006) 296 304] are independent by and contain properly the class AC^n.
