Induktiovaihe integraatiokoulutuksen käyneiden opettajien kokemana

Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten yliopistossa integraatiokoulutuksen käyneet luokanopettajat ovat kokeneet induktiovaiheen sekä ensimmäisen vuotensa työelämässä. Tutkimuksen tarkastelun kohteena oli lisäksi opettajien saama tuki induktiovaiheessa sekä opettajankoulutuksen kehittäminen. Aihe on tärkeä, jotta induktiovaihetta ja koulutusta voitaisiin kehittää. Aineisto kerättiin sähköpostin välityksellä laadullisella kyselyllä. Kyselyyn vastasi viisi integraatiokoulutuksen käynyttä opettajaa. Kyselyt analysoitiin laadullisen sisällönanalyysin avulla. The purpose of academic advising is to help students with developing educational plans that support their academic career and personal goals, and to provide information and guidance on studies. Planning and management of the students’ study path is the main joint activity in advising. En aquest article, els autors descriuen com l'ús de plataformes de treball col·laboratiu ajuda a la millora de competències d'estudiants d'enginyeria, així com a la millora contínua de la qualitat de l'ensenyança. Conseqüentment, a través de la implicació dels estudiants que han participat activament en l'experiència d'innovació docent, s'ha aconseguit l'objectiu principal de l'estudi proposat. Els resultats obtinguts mostren amb èxit el grau d'impacte en la qualitat de la docència (concretament en allò relacionat amb tutories docents) a través de l'ús d'una nova plataforma de treball col·laboratiu: ConferenceXP.

Virtues of Mentors and Mentees in the Finnish Model of Teachers’ Peer-group Mentoring

This study investigated participants’ conceptions of the ideal mentor and mentee in the Finnish model of peer-group mentoring (PGM). Existing mentoring research emphasises dyadic practices, yet there is a lack of investigation of participants’ roles in group mentoring. The main concepts of this inquiry were dispositions (habitus) and virtues drawing on the theory of practice architectures and Aristotelian virtue philosophy. The purpose of this study was to create a substantive theory of non-family mentoring that can be applied to the use of family businesses. The experiences of non-family mentoring were explored by using a Grounded Theory approach and the data was gathered through in-depth interviews from seven next generation members (NGM).In this study, the essence of non-family mentoring is discussed from three perspectives of freedom.
