Vengono presentati gli interventi resi in occasione della sesta edizione della Summer School “Migranti, Diritti Umani e Democrazia”, svoltasi nel settembre 2012. In particolare gli approfondimenti che vanno dall’autorganizzazione in altri contesti di vita all’identità di genere e solidarietà tra le donne immigrate, dal senso di comunità, rete sociale e sostegno sociale alla diaspora e mobilities, dalla gestione della salute, della maternità, delle strategie di cura dei figli alla comunicazione e mediazione culturale, dal mercato del lavoro e capitale sociale alle reti transnazionali.

Okun’s law turns out from the relationship between economic growth and unemployment fluctuations of the American economy during the sixties. Following Okun’s conclusions several analysis tried to test the empirical relevance of the initial relation for different countries and historical periods. In this paper we propose an empirical application regarding Italian regions. As we have observed the inconsistency of Okun’s Law for the south of Italy, we tried to test the reason for the absence of significance in the analysed coefficients. This article focuses on property relationships among siblings, especially on sales and exchanges of land, houses and other items, on the small Sicilian island of Stromboli in the Aeolian archipelago during the nineteenth century. Stromboli's economy incorporated farming and seafaring activities. The ‘modular structure’ of houses and wealth was characterised by partible inheritance, with equal inheritance shares or endowments for both sons and daughters, which was permitted under the Civil Code of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. Valutazione della OCM ortofrutta (REG. 2200/96: la Sicilia. Il regolamento (Reg. CE 2200/96) avrebbe dovuto incentivare l'orientamento al mercato delle produzioni ortofrutticole fresche, i suoi effetti sono stati diversificati nelle diverse regioni italiane. Il caso siciliano evidenzia particolari carenze funzionali e limitata efficacia della norma.

Lucretius has often been regarded as one of the fathers of modern science, and also in recent years several studies have explored his influence far beyond a merely literary perspective. In this paper I analyse specifically the importance of the poet's 'eclectic' attitude in physiology from the point of view of his 'Fortleben' in early modern thought.
