The flood warning system presented in this paper provides a reliable and effective solution, which is complementary to existing traditional warning systems; it employs information and communication technology and specialized devices.

Protection motivation theory (PMT) is one of the most commonly used theories to examine information security behaviors. Our systematic review of the application of PMT in information systems (IS) security and the comparison with its application for decades in psychology identified five categories of important issues that have not yet been examined in IS security research. Minimum message length clustering: an explication and some applications to vegetation data

In this paper, we examine the application of a particular approach to induction, the minimum message length principle and illustrate some of the problems that can be addressed through its use. The MML principle seeks to identify an optimal model within some specified parameterised class of models and for this paper we have chosen to concentrate on a single model class, that of mixture separation or fuzzy clustering. The first section presents, in outline, an MML methodology for fuzzy clustering. Attraverso la ricostruzione di un allestimento della "Messa da Requiem" di Giuseppe Verdi al Duomo di Orvieto nel 1891, l'articolo riflette sui metodi di produzione dello spettacolo, mostrando come, nonostante il contesto sacro, la macchina gestionale fosse quella tipica dell'industria operistica coeva, con un ruolo di primissimo piano esercitato dal direttore d'orchestra, Emilio Usiglio.

The use of digital health technologies, including telemedicine and teledentistry, has become a necessity in healthcare due to the SARS-CoV-19 pandemic. These technologies allow for the reduction of the workload of healthcare providers and the improvement of patient outcomes in cases of remote monitoring, diagnosis, and communication. While there are no doubtful benefits, there are some counterparts, such as concerns about clinical risks, data security, and privacy protection.
