Ternary transition metals sulfides in hydrotreating catalysis.

International audience; Pure microcrystalline barium molybdate BaMoO4 and barium tungstate BaWO4 materials were prepared by molten flux reaction using alkali metal nitrates as reaction media. The obtained crystals have rhombic shape and expose mostly (111) crystallographic planes. Their mean size depends on the flux temperature and the nature of the alkali metal cation. Monomeric molybdate and tungstate used as precursors yield target products already at 673 K whereas if polymerized ammonium oxosalts were used, then higher temperatures were necessary to obtain barium salts. Artykuł stanowi przegląd literatury dotyczącej syntezy i charakterystyki materiałów hybrydowych uzyskanych na drodze kopolimeryzacji alkenylopodstawionych silseskwioksanów z olefinami. Przedstawiono przykłady wykorzystania m.in. procesów kopolimeryzacji koordynacyjnej do syntezy kopolimerów olefin i silseskwioksanów (POSS). Jednocześnie wskazano korzyści płynące z obecności POSS w strukturze polimeru, które przekładają się na jego zwiększoną odporność termiczną oraz parametry mechaniczne.

Remnants of Anderson localization in prethermalization induced by white noise

We study the non-equilibrium evolution of a one-dimensional quantum Ising chain with spatially disordered, time-dependent, transverse fields characterised by white noise correlation dynamics. We establish pre-thermalization in this model, showing that the quench dynamics of the on-site transverse magnetisation first approaches a metastable state unaffected by noise fluctuations, and then relaxes exponentially fast towards an infinite temperature state as a result of the noise. We also consider energy transport in the model, starting from an inhomogeneous state with two domain walls which separate regions characterised by spins with opposite transverse magnetization. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādas iespējas ir, izmantojot .NET ietvara C# programmēšanas valodu un komponenti LINQ, izveidot un pilnveidot modelēšanas rīkus. Maģistra darba ietvaros mērķis ir iepazīties C#/LINQ iespējām, ar metamodeļu aprakstu un rīku OWLGrEd, lai varētu papildināt tā funkcionalitāti. Darbā tiek izpētītas C#/LINQ iespējas, modeļu repozitoriji, kā arī OWLGrEd funkcionalitāte un izmantotās tehnoloģijas (TDA, Lua, LPeg.RE, lQuery). Darba ietvaros tiek veikti praktiski pētījumi, kā ar C#/LINQ, izmantojot repozitoriju piekļuves API, var pieslēgties mii_rep modeļu repozitorijam. En este trabajo me ocupo de la semántica de los términos de ficción, en el marco de una posición de tipo abstractista (KRIPKE 2011 y 2013, VAN INWAGEN 1977, SALMON 1998 y 2002, THOMASSON 1999, PREDELLI 1997, 2002 y 2005 y VOLTOLINI 2011). En particular, me concentro en dos problemas que afectan a este tipo de posiciones: el primero de ellos es dar cuenta de la verdad intuitiva de enunciados como "Ulises duerme en la playa de Ithaca"; el segundo es explicar la aceptación, también intuitiva, de que "Ulises no existe" es un enunciado verdadero. AbstractCopepods of the genera Calanus and Pseudocalanus are important components of Arctic marine ecosystems. Despite the key roles of these zooplankters, little is known about the organisms they interact with most intimately, their parasites and symbionts. We applied metabarcode sequencing to uncover eukaryotic parasites present within these two copepod genera from three areas around the high Arctic archipelago of Svalbard. Ten distinct parasite groups were observed: four different Apostome ciliates, four different dinoflagellates (Chytriodinium sp., Ellobiopsis sp., Thalassomyces sp., and Hematodinium sp.), a Paradinium sp., and a trematode.
