Le groupe de travail « SHS et santé » de l’alliance Athéna est chargé d’une mission anticipatrice portant sur les thématiques de Sciences Humaines et Sociales concernant la santé afin de stimuler et faire évoluer la recherche de SHS sur ce domaine, et d’en assurer l’ouverture internationale. Analysis of georeferenced landscape pictures extracted from public picture collections

National audience; Today photo-sharing websites allow citizen to share their pictures. Pictures taken by sensor-equipped devices such as smartphones or tablet-computers keep the information where (in terms of coordinates and azimuth angle), when and with which device a picture has been taken.We have developed a method that uses the coordinates of the camera position as well as the azimuth angle, the focal length and the crop factor in order to calculate a 3D field of view of a picture using a digital terrain model (DTM). This paper presents the principles, method and main results of the Observatory of the Socio-Ecological Transition in Franche-Comté (OTSE-fc). The latter is currently used as a reference for the development of the Drâa observatory of the Province of Ouarzazate as part of the CNRS-CNRST scientific cooperation project 2015-2016. At the request of the participants of the workshop, we also summarized the progress of the territorial diagnosis of the Province of Ouarzazate, which constitutes the basis of the Drââ Observatory.
