RAB18 Loss Interferes With Lipid Droplet Catabolism and Provokes Autophagy Network Adaptations

Autophagy is dependent on appropriate lipid supply for autophagosome formation. The regulation of lipid acquisition and the autophagy network response to lipid-limiting conditions are mostly elusive. Here, we show that the knockout of the RAB GTPase RAB18 interferes with lipid droplet catabolism, causing an impaired fatty acid release. The resulting reduced lipid-droplet-derived lipid availability influences autophagy and provokes adaptive modifications of the autophagy network. These adjustments include increased expression and phosphorylation of ATG2B as well as augmented formation of the ATG12-ATG5 conjugate. However, although HSR can provide travel times similar to those provided by short-haul flights, and at lower emission levels, it also requires considerable investments in time and infrastructure to build. Analiza dokumentów i jego osobistych notatek pokazuje nam osobę bardzo pracowitego biskupa, który niewątpliwie należał do grona najaktywniejszych polskich ojców soborowych. Jego solidne wykształcenie, znajomość języków obcych, głęboka pobożność oraz gorliwa i roztropna działalność pasterska zjednały mu wielki szacunek w rzymskich komisjach, a także w gronie polskiego Episkopatu. Il saggio affronta il tema del riciclo urbano attraverso la mappatura e l'analisi di fenomeni di dismissione e sotto-utilizzo presenti nella città di Palermo. Il tema del riciclo si offre a una città come Palermo come potenziale strumento dirompente di trasformazione. La mappatura e la definizione della tassonomia degli spazi da riconvertire per conoscere le tipologie di offerta potenziale è considerato il primo importante passo a cui affiancare la formulazione delle regole per l’accesso e la condivisione degli spazi, nonché possibili strategie e politiche pubbliche per generare nuove funzioni o consolidare e rinnovare pratiche d’uso già avviate.

After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered.
