Evaluation of the iridocorneal angle with accommodation using optical coherence tomography

The changes in the iridocorneal angle structure during accommodation are assessed by means of anterior segment optical coherence tomography. Thirteen right eyes were included in the study. The device used for the measurement was the Visante® omni system. The stimuli were set up at different vergences (0.0 D, -1.5 D, and -3.0 D). The angle opening distance 500 and 750, the trabecular iris space area 500 and 750, and the scleral spur angle parameters were assessed at the nasal and temporal regions. The dual-process model of development regulation (Brandtstädter & Rothermund, 2002a) proposes that accommodation (flexible goal adjustment) contributes to well-being and successful development. A cognitive mindset characterized by a divergent thinking mode should facilitate accommodative processes. Two studies were conducted to examine the relationship between accommodative mechanisms and music reception. Tuvākā skaidra redzes punkta noteikšanu ietekmējošie faktori

Darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 25 lapaspusēm. Tajā ir 20 attēli, 2 tabulas un 20 literatūras avoti. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt dažādu faktoru – acs zīlītes un stimula izmēra- ietekmi uz tuvākā skaidras redzes punkta novērtēšanu. Tuvākais skaidras redzes punkts tika noteikts ar “push-up” metodi. Mērījumi tika veikti ar stimulu izmēriem 20/20; 20/25 un 20/30 (Snellena frakcija). Acs zīlītes diametrs tika novērtēts, izmantojot šablonu. Rezultāti parādīja, ka, samazinoties stimula izmēram “push-up” metodē, zīlītes diametrs pieaug un tuvākais skaidras redzes punkts attālinās.

Continuous play : leisure engagement in competitive fighting games and taekwondo

In order to better understand the development of play and games in modern lives, this article examines two competitive leisure groups: digital fighting game players and traditional taekwondo practitioners. Drawing on qualitative offline/online interviews (n = 56) and close reading of externally documented life narratives (n = 14), we explore how the modes and motives of engagement fluctuate in competitive players over time. The study provides a new developmental approach to continuous competitive play as leisure. Tämä tutkielma on deskriptiivis-kontrastiivinen tutkimus suomen ja ranskan välillä. Tarkoituksena oli etsiä arvelemisen ilmaisimet Toivo Pekkasen kahdesta teoksesta ja niiden ranskannoksista. Arvelevat väitteet edustavat episteemistä modaliteettia, joka antaa ilmaukselle merkityksen ’mahdollinen’ tai ’todennäköinen’.
