Contemporary Southeast Asia is a diverse region that is fully integrated into the world economy. Its eleven constituent countries are distinct with unique historical, political, economic, and cultural configurations – as such, they develop unevenly within, and respond accordingly to, the evolution of the global capitalist system. This chapter provides a survey of literatures, themes and debates that have significantly contributed to the study of Southeast Asia from the discipline of international political economy (IPE). International audience; This article contains an overview of the modernization of the regional administrations since its inception until present. We distinguish roughly four modernizing cycles: the first is mainly identified with the search for legitimacy and survival of the regional administrations. The second is inspired by the New Public Management (NPM) and the emergence of a post-burocratic paradigm that enables the development of new methodologies. The third is characterized by the primacy of e-administration and quality policies applied to public services. Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja instrumentów zarządzania ryzykiem w rolnictwie, akceptowanych i oczekiwanych przez użytkowników towarowych gospodarstw rolnych w Opolskiem w związku z modernizacją WPR. W opracowaniu wykorzystano meto-dy dedukcyjne i indukcyjne. Przeprowadzono badania literaturowe oraz porównawczą analizę instytucjonalną. Materiał empiryczny zebrano w 2014 r. metodą wywiadu kwestionariuszo-wego w 100 gospodarstwach. Na podstawie badań stwierdzono, że trwająca modernizacja gospodarstw rolnych tworzy nowe rodzaje niepewności. Deconstruction and hermeneutical space as keys to understanding the rural

The purpose of this article is to complement the existing literature on defining the rural by suggesting a novel approach that makes possible a holistic understanding of the rural. The proposed approach is based on deconstruction of the concept of the rural and on hermeneutical philosophy. The current approaches applied in rural studies are evaluated through the lens of holistic understanding, and solutions to the observed problems are discussed. The problems of current rural studies stem from inadequate conceptualization and biased social theory. Skuteczność wentylacji grawitacyjnej w budownictwie mieszkaniowym

Skuteczność systemu wentylacji jest znaczącym problemem w budownictwie mieszkaniowym.W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań systemu wentylacji grawitacyjnej w lokalach mieszkalnych poddanych termomodernizacji. Badania przeprowadzono w lokalu mieszkalnym o powierzchni 60 m2 znajdującym się w budynku wielorodzinnym w Opolu. Badania prowadzono zarówno przed jak i po prowadzonej termomodernizacji mieszkania. Badania wykazały iż wentylacja grawitacyjna nie spełnia wymaganych w normach parametrów wymiany powietrza. Stwierdzono również zmniejszenie skuteczności wentylacji grawitacyjnej po przeprowadzeniu prac termomodernizacyjnych.
