A novel approach for parameters determination in four lumped PV parametric model with operative range evaluations

The paper presents a novel numerical approach for the parameters determination of crystalline silicon PV models four lumped parameters equivalent circuit. The novel approach basically deals with a new method, alternative to the iterative one known in literature, to calculate the series resistance. Particularly, it allows the evaluation of the lumped parameters on the basis of the manufacturer’s datasheet. The new approach has been validated both in the Maximum Power Point (MPP) and close to it by comparing values and curves obtained by means of the model implementation in Matlab/Simulink environment with those related to some five parameters models and manufacturer curves. Annihilators of tensor density modules

Abstract We describe the two-sided ideals in the universal enveloping algebras of the Lie algebras of vector fields on the line and the circle which annihilate the tensor density modules. Both of these Lie algebras contain the projective subalgebra, a copy of sl 2 . The restrictions of the tensor density modules to this subalgebra are duals of Verma modules (of sl 2 ) for Vec ( R ) and principal series modules (of sl 2 ) for Vec ( S 1 ) . Thus our results are related to the well-known theorem of Duflo describing the annihilating ideals of Verma modules of reductive Lie algebras. Surfaces of minimal degree of tame representation type and mutations of Cohen–Macaulay modules

We provide two examples of smooth projective surfaces of tame CM type, by showing that any parameter space of isomorphism classes of indecomposable ACM bundles with fixed rank and determinant on a rational quartic scroll in projective 5-space is either a single point or a projective line. For surfaces of minimal degree and wild CM type, we classify rigid Ulrich bundles as Fibonacci extensions. For the rational normal scrolls S(2,3) and S(3,3), a complete classification of rigid ACM bundles is given in terms of the action of the braid group in three strands.

Let $A$ be an algebra over an operad in a cocomplete closed symmetric monoidal category. We study the category of $A$-modules. We define certain symmetric product functors of such modules generalising the tensor product of modules over commutative algebras, which we use to define the notion of a jet module. This in turn generalises the notion of a jet module over a module over a classical commutative algebra. We are able to define Atiyah classes (i.e. obstructions to the existence of connections) in this generalised context. Standard testing of photovoltaic modules for use in renewable energy education

A photovoltaic laboratory exercise has been devised and used in the educational curriculum of the Renewable Energy Programme at the University of Jyväskylä. The purpose of the experimental tasks is to give students of renewable energy a good understanding of standard testing procedures used in industry for characterising photovoltaic modules and to provide practical skills in sizing simple photovoltaic installations. Herein the experimental set-up, basic theory and measurement procedure are described. A closed formula for the evaluation of foams

International audience; We give a purely combinatorial formula for evaluating closed, decorated foams. Our evaluation gives an integral polynomial and is directly connected to an integral, equivariant version of colored Khovanov-Rozansky link homology categorifying the sl(N) link polynomial. We also provide connections to the equivariant cohomology rings of partial flag varieties.

In this dissertation, we study the underlying geometry of integrable systems, in particular tausymmetric bi-Hamiltonian hierarchies of evolutionary PDEs and differential-difference equations.First, we explore the close connection between the realms of integrable systems and algebraic geometry by giving a new proof of the Witten conjecture, which constructs the string taufunction of the Korteweg-de Vries hierarchy via intersection theory of the moduli spaces of stable curves with marked points.
