Varieties Generated by Certain Models of Reversible Finite Automata
2006
Reversible finite automata with halting states (RFA) were first considered by Ambainis and Freivalds to facilitate the research of Kondacs-Watrous quantum finite automata. In this paper we consider some of the algebraic properties of RFA, namely the varieties these automata generate. Consequently, we obtain a characterization of the boolean closure of the classes of languages recognized by these models.

Small ammonoid assemblages are recorded from the Perapertú Formation in northern Palencia. This is a mudstone unit with local platform limestones characterised by carbonate debris flows on the limestone margins. En el present treball estudiarem els autòmats des d'una perspectiva tant algebraica com coalgebraica. Volem aprofitar la natura dual d'aquests objectes per a presentar un marc unificador que explique i estenga alguns resultats recents de la teoria d'autòmats. Per tant, la secció 2 conté nocions i definicions preliminars per a mantenir el treball tan contingut com siga possible. Així, presentarem les nocions d'àlgebra i coàlgebra per a un endofunctor. The late Late Albian (Mortoniceras fallax Zone) cephalopod fauna from the Bracquegnies formation at Strépy-Thieu (Hainaut, southern Belgium).

Excavations in 1989-1990 for the construction of a boat lift near the villages of Strépy and Thieu, east of Mons (province of Hainaut, southern Belgium), exposed a 40-metre section of the Bracquegnies Formation (Haine Green Sandstone Group; the ‘Meule de Bracquegnies’ of previous authors). Several hundred well-preserved, silicified cephalopods were collected from between 15 and 35 metres above the base of the sequence temporarily exposed there.
