For the reading of an extract of The Story of Gil Blas of Santillane, a picaresque narrative and a novel about social ascension from the beginning of XVIII th century, we will question some of the processes and effects of the foolish narration. We come across the model of the farce, the games of parody, the controversial genre of satire : on the one hand, they aim to make the readerlaugh or smile, but they also give rise to thinking, especially when, all things considered, the « moral judgement » is so to speakimpeded.

The enchondroma is a benign tumor of the endosteal cartilage and it is common in young-adult patients. These tumors are usually diagnosed when a pathologic fracture occurs at the site of the lesion or when they are accidentally discovered during investigations performed for other reasons. This report describes the case of a patient with an enchondroma of the external tibial plateau. Diagnosis was made treating an ipsilateral supracondylar femoral fracture caused by a traffic accident.
Incoherent Yet Still Moral? Followers’ Perceptions of Their Leaders’ Integrity

The aim of this study was to broaden the current understanding of leader integrity by applying a social-cognitive process model to leaders’ moral decision-making. Leaders (n = 223) were classified into different integrity styles (informational, normative, or diffuse-avoidant) based on their personal descriptions of how they approach moral questions and make moral decisions at work. We then investigated how followers (n = 963) perceived these leaders’ integrity (moral behavior, behavioral integrity, and consistency) and their leader-member exchange (LMX) quality by using a hierarchical leader-follower sample. In his latest book Massimo La Torre makes a number of criticisms to legal positivism. Most of them are convincing. In this essay I try to reply to the few I disagree with. In particular, I deal with La Torre’s objections against Hart’s theories on legal interpretation and the internal point of view and against Raz’s theory of legitimate authority. In the last paragraph I outline some ideological reasons for not considering legal positivism entirely dead.
El hombre como fin en sí: una aproximación kantiana a la idea de persona

El principal componente en la idea kantiana de persona es la idea del hombre como un fin en sí. Esta idea va siempre ligada en Kant a la idea de libertad y a la idea del carácter formal de los principios de la moral y del derecho. Pero la idea de fin en sí es de por sí oscura y no es fácil ver cómo queda ligada con las otras dos ideas. Arrojar luz sobre este punto significa aclararnos también sobre el estado actual de la cuestión tanto en lo que se refiere a la idea de persona como en lo que se refiere a las relaciones entre moral y derecho, pues se trata de un conjunto de cuestiones que derivan casi todas ellas o bien de Kant o de la polémica con él.
