Religious groupings and subcultures both tend to have well-articulated interests, aims, and values that unite certain people but also alienate those who do not share their interests. The case is then made for the construction of difference between 'us' and 'them'. This paper examines the construction of such a group boundary in the previously little studied context of the Christian metal (CM) music subculture. The focus of analysis is on the kinds of stances that are taken and attributed to 'us' and 'them' in the English lyrics of Finnish CM groups. Nella storia della filosofia, intesa come storia dei tentativi del pensare, il sorgere della meraviglia come inizio del pensare può essere inteso come riflesso dell'espressione evangelica "Se non diventerete come bambini, non entrerete nel Regno dei cieli"(Mt18,13). Questo, però,ci aiuta a capire che pensare, secondo l'avvertenza socratica del "sapere di non sapere", può anche significare dovere imparare a rinunciare al sapere, per potere apprendere quella passione dell'inizio che riguarda in proprio il pensare e che coincide con la scoperta e l'esercizio della libertà.

SCOPO DEL LAVORO Presentiamo un caso di una paziente di 24 anni che giunge alla nostra attenzione per la comparsa di disartria come quadro clinico d’esordio di una forma aggressiva di malattia demielinizzante di cui si valuta l’atipica evoluzione neuroradiologica delle lesioni pseudotumorali che la caratterizzano e le possibili diagnosi differenziali. MATERIALI E METODI La paziente dopo una prima valutazione in PS è stata sottoposta a TC encefalo, ricoverata presso l’U.O. di Neurologia, sottoposta a controlli RM seriati (anche con tecniche avanzate); durante la degenza è stata inoltre effettuata una biopsia stereotassica. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa selvitetään, miten maahanmuuttajamiehistä puhutaan seksuaalisen väkivallan tekijöinä internetkeskusteluissa vuonna 2015. Tarkastelun kohteena ovat selonteot, joilla tekoja selitetään, ongelmapuhe ja uhkakuvat, joita keskusteluissa nousee sekä ratkaisuehdotukset, joita tähän sosiaaliseen ongelmaan esitetään. Tutkimuksessamme tarkastelun kohteena ovat myös vasta-argumentit, joilla maahanmuuttajien tekemää seksuaalista väkivaltaa ja siitä tuotettua ongelmaa kiistetään. Moral Tension in the Psyche: A Jungian Interpretation of Managers' Moral Experiences

The psyche imbues our behaviour and our moral choices. C.G. Jung placed an archetypal, spiritual self at the centre of the psyche which represents who we really are and evinces fundamental moral potential. This paper proposes that a Jungian framework of morality unravels our understanding of moral experiences by identifying points of moral tension in the psyche. The structure of the psyche is briefly outlined, with a clear emphasis on the morally relevant concepts of the persona, the self and the two-tiered conscience.
