Abstract In insects, the knowledge of embryonic brain development is still fragmentary, and comparative data are scarce. In this study, we explored aspects of embryonic brain development in the coleopteran Tenebrio molitor . A detailed description is provided of the spatial and temporal pattern of the embryonic brain neuroblasts during 18–60% of embryonic development. Approximately 125 brain NBs have been identified in each hemisphere of the brain at about 40% of embryonic development. Parasitoids of leaf-spinning Lepidoptera associated with two isolated central European peat bogs were investigated. Five families of parasitoid Hymenoptera (Braconidae, lchneumonidae, Eulophidae, Pteromalidae and Encyrtidae) were recorded. Three categories were recognised: (1) primary parasitoids, (2) facultative hyperparasitoids and (3) obligatory hyperparasitoids. Ten species of Braconidae, five species and seven marked morphospecies among lchneumonidae, and three species of Chalcidoidea were identified. Long-Term Breastfeeding: The Embodied Experiences of Finnish Mothers

Mothers’ experiences constitute a central and widely discussed issue within feminist breastfeeding research. Less is said however, about long-term breastfeeding in relation to embodiment. This article analyses the embodied experiences of Finnish mothers who have breastfed for over a year. Through a feminist lens, and an inductive qualitative content analysis, the written accounts of 39 long-term breastfeeding mothers were analysed, to show how mothers reflect on embodiment while breastfeeding long-term.
