This paper suggests using motor games with children with functional diversity, specifically, with cerebral palsy. As any other child, those with cerebral palsy should play and learn while playing. The characteristics of these children are described because knowing about them will help to adapt the motor games so that they will take more advantage of the benefits of this methodological tool. This is the reason why here some methodological indications are explained, because if they are taken into account, children with cerebral palsy will be more easily included in the games and will take more profit from them.

Background: No biomechanical study has been performed analyzing the merits of reconstructing the popliteofibular ligament (PFL) through a tibial tunnel with an anatomic reconstruction of the posterolateral knee. Hypothesis: There is no difference in an anatomic posterolateral knee reconstruction with or without a PFL reconstruction placed through a tibial tunnel in restoring knee motion to the intact, uninjured state, and the knee is not overconstrained with this reconstruction. Liikuntataitojen oppiminen on yksi liikuntakasvatuksen tärkeimmistä tavoitteista. Hyvät lii-kuntataidot auttavat liikunnallisen elämäntavan omaksumisessa ja arjessa selviytymisessä. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena on tutkia suomalaisten urheiluseurassa urheilevien lasten ja nuorten koordinaatiota, ketteryyttä ja dynaamista tasapainoa KTK-testillä (Körperkoor-dinationstest für Kinder) mitattuna. Although ontogeny cannot recapitulate phylogeny, a two-level model of the acquisition of language will be here proposed and its implication for the evolution of the faculty of language will be discussed. It is here proposed that the identification of the cognitive requirements of language during ontogeny could help us in the task of identifying the phylogenetic achievements that concurred, at some point, to the acquisition of language during phylogeny. An Interactive Demonstration of Collaborative VR for Laparoscopic Liver Surgery Training

We introduce a collaborative virtual reality (VR) system for planning and simulation in laparoscopic liver surgery training. Patient image data is used for surgical model visualization and simulation. We developed two modes for training in laparoscopic procedures: exploration and surgery mode. Surgical joysticks are used in surgery mode to provide training for psychomotor skills and cooperation between a camera assistant and an experienced surgeon. Continuous feedback from our clinical partner comprised an important part of the development.
