Il saggio traccia un quadro dei rapporti fra Nietzsche e Wagner, dal primo incontro nel 1869 sino alla definitiva "rottura" nei giorni dell'inaugurazione del Festspielhaus di Bayreuth e della prima rappresentazione di "Parsifal". Particolare attenzione viene riservata all'opera per pianoforte a 4 mani "Nachklang Heiner Sylvesternacht", scritta da Nietzsche nel novembre 1871 e dedicata a Cosima Wagner.

The author analyses Friedrich Meinecke's concepts of 'Staatsnation' and 'Kulturnation' in relation to tendencies of nationalism and cosmopolitanism in Italian, Slavic and German music in the region of the North Adriatic under the Absburg administration from 1860 to 1918 (Trieste, Istria, Rijeka/Fiume, Dalmazia). Il saggio indaga i rapporti culturali ed estetici tra Scelsi e la cultura francese e ne rintraccia un elemento fondamentale per la comprensione della produzione artistica del compositore: dal primo contatto giovanile, in cui la conoscenza delle avanguardie culturali francesi apre il giovane compositore a stimolanti esperienze artistiche, al rapporto con Henri Michaux, che viene qui indagato analizzando opere dello scrittore e del compositore, fino poi ai legami con le generazioni più giovani di compositori, come Grisey e Murail, che individuano nelle tecniche compositive di Scelsi i prodromi di un nuovo trattamento del suono.

Tämän laadullisen tapaustutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää millaista ja missä määrin yhteisöllisyyttä koettiin Jyväskylän Musica-kuorossa tutkimuksen tekemisen hetkellä (keväällä 2009). Musica-kuoro on sekakuoro, joka koostuu pääosin opiskelijoista ja jota johtaa Pekka Kostiainen. Tutkimuksen keskeisiksi käsitteiksi muodostuivat yhteisöllisyys, sosiaalinen pääoma sekä hyvinvointi. Formal Concept Analysis of Musicians' Awareness for Musical Expression

This paper proposes a logical framework that visualizes musicians' conceptual structures that are acquired in skill communication processes for musical expression as rhetoric. Generally, these conceptual structures are difficult to show difference between experts and beginners. So, we first carry out a theoretical analysis of musicians' awareness for musical expression using Channel theory and Formal Concept Analysis (FCA). Then, we propose a representation that shows the level of musicians' skills of musical expression. Finally, we discussed about hierarchy of musicians' conceptual structure.

Mobile learning is one of the most recent branches in educational research. In contrast to traditional classroom learning, mobile learning extends outside the classroom, allowing mobility and flexible interaction between formal and informal learning. Up to this date, only few music based mobile applications have been developed for educational purposes and especially for young children. The development of rhythm at the age of 6–11 years: non-pitch rhythmic improvisation

In the statistical and transcriptional analyses reported in this exploratory study, original rhythms of 6–11-year-old children (N = 36) were examined. The hypotheses were based on a new model of musical development, and tested empirically using non-pitch rhythmic improvisation in a MIDI-environment. Several representational types were found in cluster analysis. The types are comparable to those found in earlier studies of rhythm. A dimensional conflict appeared between grouping and metre, and was solved in the last substage (10–11 years).
