Bakalaura darba “Mākoņskaitļošanas pakalpojumu izmantošana multireģionālu sistēmu uzturēšanai” mērķis ir izpētīt, kas ir multireģionālas sistēmas un kāda loma mākoņskaitļošanai ir šādu sistēmu uzturēšanā. Pētījumā tiek apskatīti un salīdzināti 3 mākoņskaitļošanas pakalpojumu sniedzēji, kā arī tiek veikta gadījuma izpēte sistēmai, kurā tiek risinātas problēmas, kas saistītas ar multireģionālas sistēmas izstrādi un uzturēšanu.

AbstractCD81 is a ubiquitously expressed member of the tetraspanin family. It forms large molecular platforms, so-called tetraspanin webs that play physiological roles in a variety of cellular functions and are involved in viral and parasite infections. We have investigated which part of the CD81 molecule is required for the formation of domains in the cell membranes of T-cells and hepatocytes. Surprisingly, we find that large CD81 platforms assemble via the short extracellular δ-domain, independent from a strong primary partner binding and from weak interactions mediated by palmitoylation. AbstractMany organisms disperse in groups, yet this process is understudied in viruses. Recent work, however, has uncovered different types of collective infectious units, all of which lead to the joint delivery of multiple viral genome copies to target cells, favoring co-infections. Collective spread of viruses can occur through widely different mechanisms, including virion aggregation driven by specific extracellular components, cloaking inside lipid vesicles, encasement in protein matrices, or binding to cell surfaces. For cell binding these viruses use proteoglycans as initial attachment sites. Subsequent transfer to a secondary receptor molecule seems to be involved in virus uptake. Accordingly, this paper analyses the visual and textual discourse of 259 posts published throughout 2018 on the personal Instagram profile of Santiago Abascal, the leader of the party Vox. Visual distraction by secondary in-car tasks is a major contributing factor in traffic incidents. In-car user interface design may mitigate these negative effects but to accomplish this, design factors’ visual distraction potential should be better understood. The effects of touch screen size, user interface design, and subtask boundaries on in-car task's visual demand and visual distraction potential were studied in two driving simulator experiments with 48 participants. Lukiolaisten oppiminen infograafien avulla

Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, onko infograafien käyttäminen oppimateriaalina yhteydessä parempiin oppimistuloksiin. Infograafi on multimodaalinen tekstilaji, joka toimii itsenäisenä tekstinä. Tutkimuksessa keskityttiin staattisena eli liikkumattomana infograafina toteutetun oppimateriaalin käyttöön. Vertailukohteena käytettiin kirjoitettua tekstiä. Tutkimuksen kohdejoukkona olivat lukiolaiset (n=45), jotka jaettiin satunnaisesti infograafiryhmään (n=22) ja vertailuryhmään (n=23). Oppimateriaaliin tutustuttuaan opiskelijat tekivät oppimista mittaavan ja taustatietoja kartoittavan kyselyn.
