Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli tutkia opettajien ja opettajaopiskelijoiden näkemyksiä kulttuurisesta moninaisuudesta. Näkemysten perustan selvittämiseksi tutkittiin tapoja, joilla osallistujat kuvaavat ilmiötä sekä kartoitettiin osallistujien käsitykseen vaikuttaneita kokemuksia. Tutkimus on lähestymistavaltaan fenomenografinen. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin sähköisellä kyselylomakkeella mahdollisimman suuren osallistujamäärän takaamiseksi.
