Role of Enolase/MBP-1 in non-tumorigenic and cancer cells

The glycolytic enzyme α-enolase is a highly conserved protein involved in multiple functions (Díaz-Ramos A et al 2012). Besides the mainly cytoplasmic localization, the protein has been detected on the surface of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells where it functions as a plasminogen receptor, while a shorter variant, called Myc promoter-binding protein-1 (MBP-1), is mainly located in the nucleus. Explorative study of multifunctional agriculture in a Sicilian inland area

The study investigates the agricultural multifunctional activities carried out in a Sicilian typical rural area, the motivations for entrepreneurial choices and the overall level of satisfaction. An exploratory survey was therefore carried out on a selected group of 13 farms localized in 3 Sicilian provinces, with the goal to identify strengths and weaknesses of their multifunctional activities. In this note we will address some recent as well as classical results on multivalued integrals for multifunctions taking values in the hyperspace of convex weakly compact subsets of a general Banach space. In particular the existence of selections integrable in the same sense of the corresponding multifunctions will be considered.

Relations among Henstock, McShane and Pettis integrals for multifunctions with compact convex values

Fremlin (Ill J Math 38:471–479, 1994) proved that a Banach space valued function is McShane integrable if and only if it is Henstock and Pettis integrable. In this paper we prove that the result remains valid also in case of multifunctions with compact convex values being subsets of an arbitrary Banach space (see Theorem 3.4).
