S’amplia el catàleg d’exemplars tipus de mol·luscs del Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, publicat l’any 2008, amb nou material corresponent a 42 tàxons de mol·luscs continentals de la península Ibèrica, les illes Balears i les Canàries. La majoria d’espècimens pertanyen a les col·leccions històriques del Museu o a la col·lecció malacològica de Miquel Bech, donada a la institució el 2009. SUMMARY The problem which we are tackling in this work emerges from three different concerns: the importance of `learning science `informally¿ as part of the school curriculum, the need for scientific literacy and the importance of the social implications of contemporary science. In the Archaeological Museum in Marsala are keept many archaeological finds discovered in the sea near the city. The most important is the wooden hull of an ancient punic ship found some years ago. The rests of the ship have been submitted to impregnation with PEG, to eliminate the water and the salts absorbed the sea mud, and then is exposed inside a protective awning of plastic material, build up in one of the rooms, in order to contain as much as possible the indoor climatic variations. La prima lettera è una R corposa e densa di inchiostro, generata dalla rotazione di una Trinacria che ha perso ogni tratto espressionista, per ridiventare un potente segno grafico che richiama alla memoria elementi dell’architettura classica che tanti esempi ha disseminato sull’isola.
