La destacada actividad artística de Enric Mestre (Alboraya / Valencia, 1936) solo pude abordarse, en su compleja diversidad y riqueza, si se mantiene, como eje metodológico básico de su estudio crítico, el abierto enfoque de su sistemática interdisciplinariedad. Los diálogos e intercambios entre la escultura cerámica, la arquitectura, la pintura, el dibujo y los murales conforman precisamente el ámbito plural de su constante quehacer artístico. Objective Amplitude of Accommodation Computed from Optical Quality Metrics Applied to Wavefront Outcomes

Purpose: We studied the accuracy and precision of 32 objective wavefront methods for finding the amplitude of accommodation obtained in 180 eyes. Methods: Ocular accommodation was stimulated with 0.5 D steps in target vergence spanning the full range of accommodation for each subject. Subjective monocular amplitude of accommodation was measured using two clinical methods, using negative lenses and with a custom Badal optometer. Results: Both subjective methods gave similar results. Results obtained from the Badal optometer where used to test the accuracy of the objective methods. Effect of phenylephrine on static and dynamic accommodation

Purpose We tested the hypothesis that changes in accommodation after instillation of Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (PHCl) observed in some studies could be caused by changes in optics. Methods We performed two experiments to test the effects of PHCl on static and on dynamic accommodation in 8 and 6 subjects, respectively. Objective wavefront measurements were recorded of the static accommodation response to a stimulus at different distances or dynamic accommodation response to a sinusoidally moving stimulus (between 1 and 3 D of accommodative demand at 0.2 Hz). The use of instruments to measure it in Portugal, has been the subject of several studies, such as the adaptation of the Cuestionario de Satisfacción Laboral S20/23 (Meliá & Peiró, 1989) to Portuguese population carried out by Pocinho and García (2008). El presente estudio demostró el potencial de la morfometría geométrica para inferir nuevas visiones sobre la morfología funcional del anclaje en las especies de Ligophorus y de los procesos evolutivos de coevolución parásito-hospedador. Como síntesis del estudio, éstas son las principales conclusiones: 1. En este estudio se encontró que el patrón de variación de la forma fue similar en ganchos ventrales y dorsales. espanolResumen El Inventario Breve de Sintomas-18 (BSI-18) es un instrumento de cribado ampliamente utilizado para evaluar distres emocional (GSI) y tres tipos de sintomas: ansiedad, depresion, y somatizacion. Este trabajo estudia la estructura factorial del BSI-18, utilizando analisis factorial confirmatorio (AFC), su fiabilidad y validez convergente, asi como su invarianza factorial a traves del sexo. Una muestra de 1183 pacientes de cancer completo el BSI 18 y la lista de problemas de la NCCN. Los modelos jerarquicos de tres y cuatro factores proporcionaron ajustes adecuados y similares.
