Adult-onset Still’s disease (AOSD) is a systemic inflammatory condition of unknown aetiology characterized by typical episodes of spiking fever, evanescent rash, arthralgia, leukocytosis and hyperferritinemia. Given the lack of data in Italian series, we promote a multicentric data collection to characterize the clinical phenotype of Italian patients with AOSD. El objetivo del presente estudio longitudinal consistió en examinar el poder predictivo de las funciones ejecutivas de inhibición y memoria de trabajo (MT) evaluadas en Educación Infantil (T1) sobre los aspectos formales e informales del rendimiento matemático en 2º de Educación Primaria (T2). La muestra inicial estuvo conformada por 209 preescolares de 5 a 6 años, de los que un 86.12 % de los sujetos volvieron a ser evaluados en el T2 (7-8 años). Abstract An algorithm for tumor delineation in positron emission tomography (PET) is presented. Segmentation is achieved by a local active contour algorithm, integrated and optimized with the k-nearest neighbor (KNN) classification method, which takes advantage of the stratified k-fold cross-validation strategy. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli tuottaa tietoa opettajien pedagogisesta hyvinvoinnista, jota tässä tutkimuksessa määritellään sosiaalisen vuorovaikutuksen ja fyysisen työympäristön näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksen avulla pyrittiin kuvailemaan ja selittämään opettajan pedagogisen hyvinvoinnin ilmiötä näiden kahden tekijän osalta. Tutkimukseen osallistui 108 alakoulun opettajaa Etelä-Suomen, Länsi-Suomen, Itä-Suomen, Oulun sekä Lapin lääneistä keväällä 2011. Exotic and Primitive Lapland : Othering in The Earth Is a Sinful Song (1973)

This article contributes to postcolonial cultural criticism by analyzing how since the 1920s, Lapland and its residents have been portrayed as exotic Others in Finnish feature films that are set in Lapland. The roots of the othering of Lapland go back to the nationalist aspirations of the Finns. The geographical distance of the northern region has bred mental distance, because of which Lapland has remained a source of exoticism for filmmakers, who almost invariably come from the South. A. 3) sole medieval witness of Sextus Pompeius Festus' work De verborum significatione, transmits Aelius Gallus' definition of the legal concept of possession (Fest. pp. 260-262 L.). The interpretation of this definition entirely depends on the reconstruction of the text. Two passages are problematical because of two blank spaces (fol. 11r int., lin. 3 and lin. 4), in connection with which the scribe characterizes the model of the manuscript as 'blind' (caecus). Rivalorizzando la lezione originaria di Gell. 20.10.7 tramandata nel manoscritto fiorentino delle Notti Attiche, secondo cui il manum conserere delle XII Tavole comportava un "omnibus verbis vindicare", si contrappone la vindicatio bilaterale e contenziosa della legis actio sacramenti in rem alle vindicationes unilaterali di altre legis actiones non contenziose. Inoltre, alla luce di una rilettura delle testimonianze di Gaio e Cicerone si distingue fra il manum conserere e l'ex iure manum consertum vocare della procedura avente per oggetto la rivendica di beni immobili.
