AbstractObjective:The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficiency of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in managing their nonmonetary resources involved in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) response.Methods:For this purpose, the data envelopment analysis approach was used to measure the efficiency, considering the number of personnel and vehicles and screened passengers as the input and output parameters, respectively. Darbs ir veltīts režģa Bolcmaņa metodes pielietojumiem Navjē-Stoksa vienādojuma, konvekcijas-difūzijas-reakcijas vienādojuma un to sistēmu risināšanā. Šādas sistēmas parādās, modelējot enerģijas un masas pārneses uzdevumus, tostarp tādus, kas iekļauj ķīmiskās reakcijas. Darba ietvaros ir apskatīta metodes implementācija ar dažāda veida robežnosacījumiem, un izstrādāti MATLAB risinājumi divās telpas dimensijās plūsmai Teslas ventilī, degšanas procesam porainā vidē, siltumvadīšanas vienādojumam un cilindra aptecēšanai. Ir piedāvāti ieteikumi optimālai metodes implementācijai.

Purpose Subjects with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) have been shown to be at a higher risk for epilepsy. The vast majority of the previous studies have not included a full neuropathological examination. Methods The objective of this study was to assess the prevalence of epilepsy and clinicopathological characteristics in a well-defined study group of 64 subjects with AD. We evaluated the clinicopathological findings in 64 subjects (mean age at death 85 ± 8.6 years) from a longitudi-nal study cohort of patients with dementia. AbstractIn order to withstand the ever-increasing invasion of privacy by CCTV cameras and technologies, on par CCTV-aware solutions must exist that provide privacy, safety, and cybersecurity features. We argue that a first important step towards such CCTV-aware solutions must be a mapping system (e.g., Google Maps, OpenStreetMap) that provides both privacy and safety routing and navigation options.
