Abstract Cultural foundations, beliefs and associated ritual practices delimit the relation to and the representation and lived experience of the body in specific ways. Language is the means through which the cultural specificity of both individual and shared mental content can be explored and worked with in therapy. This article presents beliefs about the body in a patient’s religion of origin and takes up the question of the role of the cultural dimension in psychosomatic phenomena. The role of expert evaluation for microsleep detection

Abstract Recently, it has been shown by overnight driving simulation studies that microsleep density is the only known sleepiness indicator which rapidly increases within a few seconds immediately before sleepiness related crashes. This indicator is based solely on EEG and EOG and subsequent adaptive pattern recognition. Accurate microsleep recognition is very important for the performance of this sleepiness indicator. W niniejszym artykule podjęta została próba przedstawienia konceptualizacji abstrakcyjnych i złożonych zjawisk gospodarczych jako choroby/ witalności w polskim i niemieckim dyskursie prasowym. Kontrastywna eksplikacja zawartości znaczeniowej wybranych modeli metaforycznych, ukazanie ukrytej w nich intencji komunikatywnej jak również obrazu rzeczywistości oraz porównanie wyodrębnionych metafor na płaszczyźnie funkcyjnej i formalnej stanowiła istotny cel niniejszej pracy.

W niniejszym artykule podjęta została próba przedstawienia i analizy specyficznej kulturowo, metaforycznej konstrukcji rzeczywistości w polskim i niemieckim dyskursie prasowym umiejscowionym wokół tematyki Brexitu. Kontrastywna eksplikacja zawartości znaczeniowej wybranych dominujących modeli metaforycznych, ukazanie ukrytej w nich intencji komunikatywnej jak również obrazu rzeczywistości oraz porównanie wyodrębnionych metafor na płaszczyźnie funkcyjnej i formalnej stanowiła istotny cel niniejszej pracy.

Pētījuma jautājumi: Kādas saistības pastāv starp dažādu kognitīvo izkropļojumu veidu izmantošanu un Es-koncepciju? Vai pastāv dzimumatšķirības kognitīvo izkropļojumu veidu izmantošanas biežumā/izteiktībā un Es-koncepcijas rādījumos? Vai un kā Es-koncepcijas un kognitīvo izkroplojumu izmantošanas biežuma saistības atšķiras sieviešu un vīriešu grupās? Izmantotās metodes: Kognitīvo izkropļojumu skala (Covin et. al., 2011), Negatīvo pārliecību skala, (Roberts, 2015) un Es-koncepcijas aptauja (Robson, 1989).
