ResumenSiguiendo los fundamentos de la crítica como sabotaje, este ensayo analiza la novela de Élmer Mendoza, Cóbraselo caro, como un efecto performativo de la lectura de la novela de Juan Rulfo, Pedro Páramo. A través del estudio de las relaciones lingüísticas, temáticas y situacionales entre esas dos novelas, muestra que Cóbraselo caro, aun siendo un efecto performativo de Pedro Páramo, supone el auto-sabotaje de Élmer Mendoza en relación a buena parte de su narrativa. A relevant linguistics-founded response ought to be an increased interest in all ways of language existence (concrete communication acts and their products in the form of texts, a system language, individual language awareness and collective language consciousness) as well as their interactions. Recent applications of simultaneous scalp electroencephalography (EEG) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) suggest that adapting stimulation to underlying brain states may enhance neuroplastic effects of TMS. It is often assumed that longer-lasting effects of TMS on brain function may be mediated by phasic interactions between TMS pulses and endogenous cortical oscillatory dynamics. This article consists of ex post methodological reflections on the procedures and practices that I applied in my monograph Politik als parlamentarischer Begriff: Perspektiven aus den Plenardebatten des Deutschen Bundestags (Leverkusen, 2021). The book analyses through 18 parliamentary terms the conceptualization of politics in German Bundestag plenary debates from 1949 to 2017. The book was an illustration of my long-term aim of combining political theorizing with the empirical analysis of debate.
