Tämän tutkimuksen tehtävänä on selvittää, missä määrin poliittinen toiminta mahdollistuu nuorisovaltuustotoiminnassa. Erilaiset, osallistuvan demokratian toimintamallit – jollaiseksi nuorisovaltuustotoimintakin voidaan määritellä - ovat kasvattaneet suosiotaan ja niiden on ajateltu tukevan edustuksellista demokratiaa. Tutkimus kyseenalaistaa osallistuvan demokratian mahdollisuuksia poliittiseen toimintaan, mikäli sillä ei ole päätösvaltaa ja hallinto määrittelee osallistumisen tavat. In this paper a practical method is presented for creating documentation of cultural historical targets using an event-centric core ontology. By using semantic documentation templates and an XML-based query language, a domain specific documentation model can be created and flexible user interfaces can be built easily for accessing and editing the documentation. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää kansanopistossa opiskelun merkitystä opiskelijalle. Aineisto kerättiin sähköisellä kyselylomakkeella, joka lähetettiin lukuvuonna 2010–2011 yhdeksässä eri G-laatuopistossa opiskelleille päätoimisille vapaan sivistystyön opintolinjojen opiskelijoille. Kansanopistot olivat Etelä-Pohjanmaan Opisto, Haapaveden Opisto, Kankaanpään Opisto, Kymenlaakson Opisto, Keski-Suomen Opisto, Lahden kansanopisto, Länsi-Suomen Opisto, Oriveden Opisto ja Otavan Opisto. This article examines some of the cultural and theological motivations of his ministerial work, based on poems, sermons and documents from his years as a bishop. The article shows how Moe’s aesthetic and pedagogical interests are reflected in this period and how he influenced Norwegian church life through his pupils J. C. Abstract In this paper, we consider a finite-dimensional vector space 𝒫 {{\mathcal{P}}} over the Galois field GF ( p ) {\operatorname{GF}(p)} , with p being an odd prime, and the family ℬ k x {{\mathcal{B}}_{k}^{x}} of all k-sets of elements of 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} summing up to a given element x. The main result of the paper is the characterization, for x = 0 {x=0} , of the permutations of 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} inducing permutations of ℬ k 0 {{\mathcal{B}}_{k}^{0}} as the invertible linear mappings of the vector space 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} if p does not divide k, and as the invertible affinities of the affine space 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} if p divides k. Polis and Oikos : The Art of Politics in the Greek City-State

The Greek city-state has traditionally been viewed as an entity that was divided into two distinct spheres (oikos and polis) and governed by two distinct arts (oikonomia and politikê technê). The aim of this article is to show that this image of the Greek city-state is not very accurate. The relationship between the oikos and the polis was not exclusive in classical poleis. Particularly in Athens during the democratic period, the polis was depicted as a family writ large, and to the extent that oikos was seen as an entity of its own, it was a part of the polis, not excluded from or opposed to it.
