Latvijas Sieviešu palīdzības korpusa darbība 1920.-1940. gadā

Bakalaura darbā “Latvijas sieviešu palīdzības korpusa darbība 1920.–1940. gadā” analizēta sieviešu darbība, pārejot uz miera periodu līdz korpusa likvidēšanai. Darba mērķis ir atspoguļot būtiskākos Latvijas Sieviešu palīdzības korpusa darbības virzienus sociālās palīdzības sniegšanā starpkaru periodā. Darba sākumā tiek sniegts ieskats par sieviešu sociālā stāvokļa izmaiņām laika periodā no 19. gadsimta vidus līdz 20. gadsimta vidum. Tālāk seko paša Latvijas sieviešu palīdzības korpusa dibināšanas apskats, aplūkojot arī militāro situāciju Latvijā 1919. gadā. Pēc tam pētījumā tiek atspoguļota korpusa darbība no 1920. gada līdz 1940. gadam gan Rīgā, gan reģionos.

Maģistra darbs "Satversmes tiesas tiesneša neatkarības garantijas un to īstenošanas aktuālie aspekti" vērš uzmanību uz tiesnešu neatkarības institūta nozīmi demokrātiski tiesiskā valstī, Satversmes tiesas tiesnešiem kā īpašiem tiesnešu neatkarības subjektiem, kā arī sniedz ieskatu Satversmes tiesas tiesnešu neatkarības garantijās, salīdzinot to ar ārvalstu regulējumu un praksi. On the Stability of the Soft Pendulum With Affine Curvature: Open-Loop, Collocated Closed-Loop, and Switching Control

This letter investigates the stability properties of the soft inverted pendulum with affine curvature - a template model for nonlinear control of underactuated soft robots. We look at how changes in physical parameters affect stability and equilibrium. We give conditions under which zero dynamics corresponding to a collocated choice of the output is (locally or globally) stable or unstable. We leverage these results to design a switching controller that stabilizes a class of nonlinear equilibria of the pendulum, which can drive the system from one equilibrium to another.

Influence of Calcium Carbonate Nanoparticles on the Soil Burial Degradation of Polybutyleneadipate-Co-Butylenetherephthalate Films.

A polybutyleneadipate-co-butylenetherephthalate (PBAT) sample, commercially known as Ecoflex®, was processed via melt extrusion with CaCO3 nanoparticles coated with a hydrophobic coating. Blown films of PBAT and two composites with nanofiller (2% and 5%wt) were prepared and degradation tests in soil at 30 °C up to 180 days were carried out with weight loss measurements. Furthermore, biodegradation test according to ISO 14851 was carried out at 30 °C. The effect of CaCO3 on soil burial degradation was assessed by surface wettability and SEM. The Database Species-Area Relationships in Palaearctic Grasslands (GIVD ID EU-00-003) is an initiative of the European Dry Grassland Group (EDGG) and primarily functions as repository for all data sampled during the EDGG Research Expeditions. During these expeditions two types of highly standardised sampling of dry grassland vegetation in the Palaearctic realm are carried out: (i) nested-plot sampling on squares of 0.0001, 0.001, 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10, and 100 m2; (ii) additional normal releves of 10-m2 plots. In vineyards, which are very common in Mediterranean area, cover crops are becoming increasingly used to reduce soil erosion. The present dissertation examines the impact of (computerised) adaptive corrective feedback, that is, feedback dynamically adapting to learners’ abilities, in English as a second/foreign language (L2) and explores the ways to maximise this impact. The study was inspired by the sociocultural perspective on development, which had implications for the interpretation of the results, including those obtained through statistical data analyses.
