This thesis examines the longitudinal associations between leisure-time physical activity, educational attainment, and labor market outcomes. Data are drawn from the ongoing longitudinal Cardiovascular Risk in Young Finns Study, which is combined with register-based data from Statistics Finland. The thesis consists of four empirical studies organized in separate chapters. Alignment of linear molecules by short duration laser pulses

Alignment of linear molecules is efficiently induced by strong linearly polarized laser pulses. In the case of short pulses with respect to molecular rotation, periodic alignment appears in field-free conditions after the extinction of the field. This manuscript presents three techniques where the value of allows to quantify alignment without molecular dissociation nor additional alignment. They use a weak time-delayed probe pulse which experiences the optical properties of an aligned sample and shows modification of its characteristics. La colmena novela y La colmena filme son dos géneros narrativos cuyos procesos de textualización, si bien remiten a la misma historia, difieren entre sí. Por su parte, en la película, el relato cinematográfico opera narrativa y descriptivamente a partir de la secuenciación de imágenes en las que coexisten entre otros elementos: acción, espacios, movimiento y diálogos de personajes. El resultado es una concreción de la historia dada en forma multimodal. En la novela todo es verbal, discursivo: la textualización es una sucesión de formas lingüísticas con poder evocador.
