International audience; Buchnera aphidicola is an obligate symbiotic bacterium that sustains the physiology of aphids by complementing their exclusive phloem sap diet. In this study, we reappraised the transport function of different Buchnera strains, from the aphids Acyrthosiphon pisum, Schizaphis graminum, Baizongia pistaciae and Cinara cedri, using the re-annotation of their transmembrane proteins coupled with an exploration of their metabolic networks. Onomastic literacy (the skills needed to interpret the cultural and social phenomena and meanings related to name-giving) are part of a person’s cultural capital. I use this concept, which I have developed, to study personal names in family networks and in royal families in particular. This research combines the approaches and methodologies of collective biography, microhistory and the history of mentalities. Quasi-Fractional Models of Human Tendons Hereditariness

In this study, the authors, after collecting a series of experimental evidences following a creep and relaxation tendon campaign, propose a non-linear model of the viscoelastic behavior of the tendons. The ligaments investigated are the patellars and the hamstrings. The analytical model proposed by the authors aims to explain the non-linear hereditary behavior of these tissues and proposes an approach with which to develop a hereditary fractional-order non-linear model.

This chapter explores women’s networking perceptions by focusing on early career women in social sciences. Within an exploratory research design it asks how early career women define the early career stage in academia, what definitions, meanings and interpretations they give for networks and networking, how they construct the networking process and their ability to establish and/or join networks, as early career researchers and as women. In recent years, we have assisted with an impressive advance in augmented reality systems and computer vision algorithms, based on image processing and artificial intelligence. Thanks to these technologies, mainstream smartphones are able to estimate their own motion in 3D space with high accuracy.
