Background: Researchers and policy-makers have highlighted that the potential for organized sports to promote health has been underexploited. Sports clubs have limited capacity to promote health due to their voluntary nature and have called for support from their national sports federations. The present article provides guidelines, based on the theoretical principles of health promoting sports clubs and an analysis of practical tools and proven strategies, to support national sports federations to invest in health promotion (HP). The symposium presents last findings on health promotion interventions in sports clubs. After a short introduction about the health promoting sports clubs (HPSC), five presentations (France, Sweden, Ireland, Finland and Netherlands) will reflect upon how sports clubs can be health promoting: in theory, from youth perspectives, by increasing physical activity level as outcome or enhancing sustainability of interventions, before opening the discussion with academic experts. This protocol outlines a mixed-methods cluster randomized controlled trial (CRCT) in upper secondary schools that will investigate how video-based online coaching can support teachers’ competences in teacher-student interactions (TSIs) and thereby improve student engagement and learning. The intervention will take place over a school year with at least 100 teachers and 2,000 of their students. Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää kohdekielisessä maassa tapahtuvan opiskelijavaihdon vaikutuksia ruotsin ja saksan opiskelijoiden ääntämiseen, eli muuttuuko ääntäminen ja millaisia mahdolliset muutokset ovat. Tutkimukseen osallistui neljä ruotsin ja neljä saksan opiskelijaa, jotka olivat opiskelijavaihdossa yhden lukukauden ajan Ruotsissa tai Saksassa. Tutkimusmateriaali koostuu luetusta puheesta, joka kerättiin ennen ja jälkeen opiskelijavaihdon. Nauhoitukset tehtiin kielistudiossa ja molemmilla kerroilla käytettiin samoja tekstejä, jotta foneettisten aineistojen vertailu onnistuisi. Tutkielmani tarkoituksena oli selvittää ääntämisen opetusta ruotsin kielen oppikirjasarja Gallerin sähköisessä materiaalissa. Materiaali koostui lukion B-ruotsin kolmesta ensimmäisestä digitaalisesta oppikirjasta, kappalekohtaisesta sähköisestä materiaalista opettajalähtöiseen opetukseen sekä opettajan lisämateriaalista. Tarkastelin tutkimuksessani näiden materiaalien ääntämistä koskevaa sisältöä. Tutkimukseni on sisällönanalyysi, jonka avulla pyrin mahdollisimman objektiivisesti kuvaamaan oppimateriaalin sisältöä.
