Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir aplūkot un salīdzināt noteiktas Sērena Kirkegora un Frīdriha Vilhelma Nīčes idejas. Gan vienam, gan otram uzmanības centrā ir atsevišķs subjekts, kurš ir nonācis krīzes situācijā un kuram pašam nākas uzņemties atbildību par savu esamību un tās attīstību. Kirkegors pamato savas vērtības caur pilnīgu paļāvību uz Dievu, pie kura ved tikai ticības lēciens. Savukārt, Nīče šo problēmu risina, piešķirot pašam cilvēkam likumdevēja un šo likumu izpildītāja lomu. Abu domātāju darbos var konstatēt visai līdzīgu krīzes krustpunktu, kuru katrs mēģina atrisināt izejot no cita domas konteksta.
Annihilators of tensor density modules

Abstract We describe the two-sided ideals in the universal enveloping algebras of the Lie algebras of vector fields on the line and the circle which annihilate the tensor density modules. Both of these Lie algebras contain the projective subalgebra, a copy of sl 2 . The restrictions of the tensor density modules to this subalgebra are duals of Verma modules (of sl 2 ) for Vec ( R ) and principal series modules (of sl 2 ) for Vec ( S 1 ) . Thus our results are related to the well-known theorem of Duflo describing the annihilating ideals of Verma modules of reductive Lie algebras. ABSTRACT Despite its high coding capacity, murine CMV (mCMV) does not encode functional enzymes for nucleotide biosynthesis. It thus depends on cellular enzymes, such as ribonucleotide reductase (RNR) and thymidylate synthase (TS), to be supplied with deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs) for its DNA replication. Viral transactivation of these cellular genes in quiescent cells of host tissues is therefore a parameter of viral fitness relevant to pathogenicity. Abstract The activated T cell-attracting CC chemokine CCL22 is expressed by stimulated B cells and mature dendritic cells (DC). We have cloned and sequenced the complete mouse gene, including 4 kb of the 5′-flanking promoter region, and detected two distinct sites for initiation of transcription by 5′-RACE. Reporter gene assays indicate that the promoter reflects the specificity of the endogenous gene. Within the proximal promoter region, we identified potential binding sites for NF-κB, Ikaros, and a putative GC box. All three regions bind proteins. The paper presents the results of investigations of the effect of impact pressure (in the range of both elastic and plastic deformations) on the parameters of the positron lifetime spectra in PE-UMHW polymer known under the trade mark Chirulen1120. The changes in the long-living component of the positron lifetime spectrum, connected with the annihilation of o-Ps in the pick-off process, are analyzed in dependence on the impact energy. The impact duration in the Charpy’s tests depending on the impact energy was measured, too. The dependencies of the radius of the volume of empty spaces in which the positronium annihilates, on the impact pressure were determined applying the Eldrup-Tao model.
A bounded version of bosonic creation and annihilation operators and their related quasi-coherent states

Coherent states are usually defined as eigenstates of an unbounded operator, the so-called annihilation operator. We propose here possible constructions of {\em quasi-coherent states}, which turn out to be {\em quasi} eigenstate of a \underline{bounded} operator related to an annihilation-like operator. We use this bounded operator to construct a sort of modified harmonic oscillator and we analyze the dynamics of this oscillator from an algebraic point of view.
The General Antiparticle Spectrometer (GAPS) - Hunt for dark matter using low energy antideuterons

The GAPS experiment is foreseen to carry out a dark matter search using a novel detection approach to detect low-energy cosmic-ray antideuterons. The theoretically predicted antideuteron flux resulting from secondary interactions of primary cosmic rays with the interstellar medium is very low. So far not a single cosmic antideuteron has been detected by any experiment, but well-motivated theories beyond the standard model of particle physics, e.g., supersymmetry or universal extra dimensions, contain viable dark matter candidates, which could led to a significant enhancement of the antideuteron flux due to self-annihilation of the dark matter particles.
